FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (4/7/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

On Sunday, the association has 14 games on the agenda beginning at 12 PM (ET). However, with lineups being up in the air as we get closer to the playoffs, it is recommended that you stick to the main slate, which will begin at 7 PM (ET) to ensure you aren't locked into someone who isn't playing. With no games scheduled for Monday due to the Men's College Basketball National Championship, it is an excellent day to buy-in on additional contests in an attempt to walk away with some extra dough. With many studs sitting due to load management purposes, it is also an opportune time to hit up some value plays as many guys will get the chance to get some extra time on the floor.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/7/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - SG, vs. UTA  ($6,200)

As the Lakers hobble towards the end of the season, the door opened up for Caldwell-Pope to get some additional run. He is a volume scorer and is averaging 20 shot attempts throughout three games this month. Things aren't likely to change for Los Angeles between now and the conclusion of their season, so look for KCP to continue to throw up some shots in the Lakers' final two games of the year.

Grayson Allen - SG, @ LAL ($3,500)

As it stands at the moment, Derrick Favors, Kyle Korver, Raul Neto, and Ricky Rubio are all confirmed to sit on Sunday, while there is also a chance that a combination of Donovan Mitchell, Joe Ingles, Rudy Gobert and/or Jae Crowder will also join that list. As a result, Allen will start at the one against Los Angeles, a team that has struggled on the defensive end all season. The rookie has sat out for a good chunk of the year while dealing with an ankle injury while also serving some time relegated to the team's G-League affiliate, but he has made some noise over the past few games which includes recently dropping 23 points against the Sacramento Kings on Friday. Turnovers are somewhat of a concern, but the ceiling is there, especially since he will have the ball in his hands for a good portion of the night.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Josh Jackson - PF, @ HOU ($7,600)

Jackson has been a quasi-stud as of late, hitting at least 55 points in two of his last three outings. Though his numbers were inflated due to an extra quarter on Friday against New Orleans, he will continue to be the main guy in the Sun's rotation while Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and T.J. Warren sit. If Richaun Holmes is out again due to a sprained left ankle, also look for forward Ray Spalding to get some additional run as well. The rookie looked good against the Pelicans, finishing with a double-double by way of 21 points on 10-for-13 shooting to go along with 13 boards and three blocks for a value-busting 53.6 fantasy points.

Mario Hezonja - SF, vs. WSH ($7,400)

Hezonja is averaging 50 fantasy points over the past two games. As the Knicks' season also comes to an underwhelming end over the next few days, the 24-year-old will continue to be a focal point of New York's offensive gameplan while also supplementing his shooting numbers with some boards as well. With Kadeem Allen, Allonzo Trier, and potentially Emmanuel Mudiay and Dennis Smith Jr. out of the equation, Hezonja should get plenty of minutes and hit his value on Sunday, especially with this one likely being played at a higher pace.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Julius Randle - C, @  SAC ($9,200)

Though Anthony Davis will likely suit up against the Kings, Randle should continue to get his fair share of looks at the rim on Sunday, especially considering A.D. will probably only play around 20 minutes. The former Laker has played well against Sacramento all season, averaging 21.7 points and 11.7 boards throughout three meetings this season. With the Kings also allowing some of the worst defensive numbers underneath the basket this year, Randle will most definitely do some damage on the fantasy end.
