NFL Power Rankings: Where Do All 32 Teams Stand Ahead of Week 3 Football?

Lamar Jackson - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Quincy's NFL power rankings for all 32 teams heading into Week 3 of 2025. Where does each NFL team stand in our latest power rankings for the 2025 season?

The NFL we know and love was back in Week 2. Teams lit up the scoreboard as we got a chance to witness several squads score more than 30 points. That type of excitement is what NFL fans live for. As the season wears on, NFL teams will settle into their systems, and these types of performances will become more common.

Week 2 is when we start to see true colors around the league. Week 1 jitters are gone, and teams have fresh film on each other. These next few weeks will bring a lot of movement in the power rankings. Some previous contenders will fall, and fresh clubs will take their place. That is the fun of the parity of the NFL.

In this week's installment, we will see shake-ups in the top five and a couple of serious fallers in the middle of the pack. We are already losing an abundance of confidence in the Dolphins, Panthers, and others who came into the season with such promise. Enough talk, let's dive in and see where each team stands heading into Week 3.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

No. 32: Tennessee Titans

The Titans have fallen to last on this list after a blowout loss to the Rams on Sunday. The Titans were competitive throughout the first half, but they showed their inexperience in the second half with turnovers and mistakes. This team needs to find some help for its young quarterback, Cameron Ward.

No. 31: New York Giants

The Giants were robbed of a victory by the leg of Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey on Sunday. Aubrey sent the game into overtime with a 64-yard field goal with plenty of room to spare. After crushing the Cowboys' defense in regulation, the Giants stalled in overtime. However, they demonstrated that they could be a potent offense when called upon.

No. 30: Cleveland Browns

The Browns were playing with the Ravens throughout the first half, but they got Lamar Jackson-ed. Despite the loss, the Browns continue to demonstrate grit and fight. Quarterback Joe Flacco has not played poorly thus far this season; the team simply does not have enough talent to hang with the best teams in the league.

No. 29: Carolina Panthers

The Panthers looked like they were on their way to another blowout in Week 2, but a late rally saw them with a chance to win the game against the Cardinals in the final seconds. Quarterback Bryce Young started slowly, but he responded by throwing for 328 yards and three touchdowns. Hopefully, the team can get on track in Week 3 in Atlanta and improve upon their 1-8 record in September since 2023.

No. 28: New Orleans Saints

Another week brought another close game for the Saints against an NFC West foe. The Saints have not backed down from any challenge this season and have performed valiantly. Young quarterback Spencer Rattler has played like someone who belongs in this league.

No. 27: Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders were dismantled by the Chargers on Monday night. The offense could not do anything against a swarming Chargers defense. The defense had success in stopping the Chargers' running game and keeping a cap on the Chargers' offensive ceiling. The Raiders have a chance to get right in Week 3 against a Commanders team that could be without young star quarterback Jayden Daniels.

No. 26: New England Patriots

The Patriots' offense showed up in Week 2 by dominating the Dolphins. Quarterback Drake Maye looked like a certified stud, dropping dimes all game long. Most importantly, Maye looked comfortable and in control. This is exactly the type of victory the Patriots need to build momentum.

No. 25: New York Jets

The Jets did not follow up their impressive Week 1 performance with a Week 2 encore. Quarterback Justin Fields held onto the ball too long, and the rushing defense was gashed all game long. To make matters worse, Fields is in the concussion protocol. It is not yet time to panic, but things do not look good at the moment.

No. 24: Chicago Bears

Any time you allow 52 points, you are certain to fall in the power rankings. The Bears looked hapless on Sunday in head coach Ben Johnson's return to Detroit. An early 0-2 start is concerning for a team that had so much promise. The losses have included a total collapse in Week 1 and a blowout in Week 2.

No. 23: Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars should have won their game against the Bengals on Sunday. They could not close it out. After thumping the Panthers in the second half in Week 1, the Jaguars came out hot in Week 2. The inability to close out is concerning, but it is still early in the season.

No. 22: Miami Dolphins

Miami is in trouble. They have allowed 33 points in two straight weeks. The offense showed in Week 2 with 27 points, but the defense's inability to stop a nose bleed does not bode well for this team. It may be time to panic down in Miami.

No. 21: Houston Texans

The Texans find themselves in an early 0-2 hole. They lost on a last-second touchdown on Monday night. The team is in a weak division, so they are not out of the game yet. However, the Colts are looking great, and the Jaguars look improved. The Texans need to start winning games immediately.

No. 20: Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have now squeaked out two ugly wins this season. However, on Sunday, the team lost starting quarterback Joe Burrow for the next few months. With Burrow, this has not looked like a team ready to make a deep playoff run. Without Burrow, forget about it.

No. 19: Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons mustered up their first win on Sunday night over the Vikings. The Falcons' defense looks like a force to be reckoned with, and young quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is coming along nicely.

No. 18: Indianapolis Colts

It is time that we looked at the Colts seriously. The offense has been excellent for two straight weeks. After lighting up a lackluster Dolphins defense in Week 1, the Colts followed up that performance by hanging 29 points on an elite Broncos unit. The Colts are emerging as early favorites for the AFC South title.

No. 17: Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys needed a Herculean effort from kicker Brandon Aubrey to beat the Giants on Sunday. The defense was gashed all day. They looked like they could have used someone named Micah Parsons. Despite the victory, confidence in the Cowboys remains low.

No. 16: Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals are 2-0, but they could easily be 0-2. This team has been unable to close out games. The Saints and Panthers have both had chances to win the game in crunch time in Weeks 1 and 2, respectively. The team faces its first real test with the 49ers in Week 3. The Cardinals will soon show their true colors.

No. 15: Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks followed up a quiet Week 1 with a stellar Week 2 in Pittsburgh. They exploited several weaknesses that are now glaring on defense for the Steelers. The outing was encouraging, as quarterback Sam Darnold found his chemistry with his receivers not named Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

No. 14: Denver Broncos

The Broncos had a win over the Colts in their hands in Week 2, but a silly penalty gave the Colts a second chance at a go-ahead field goal. The Broncos' offense found its footing in this game, so there is no need for panic. The loss is disappointing nonetheless.

No. 13: Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings have looked lost on offense outside of a stellar fourth quarter in Week 1. Young quarterback J.J. McCarthy is going through some serious growing pains and is coming off a three-turnover game. McCarthy has plenty of time to get back on track, but the pressure is ratcheting up.

No. 12: Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers did not follow up their excellent Week 1 performance with success in Week 2. The Seahawks' defense smothered Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers all day despite missing defensive backs Devon Witherspoon and Nick Emmanwori. The question is, are these the real Steelers, or are they something closer to their Week 1 dominance?

No. 11: San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers pulled out a win on Sunday without No. 1 quarterback Brock Purdy. Luckily, the team drew the Saints, but they face a potential real challenge in Week 3 against the Cardinals. As of now, it sounds like Purdy's status is in doubt for that game too.

No. 10: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers managed to pull another win out of thin air. A last-second touchdown was enough to put them over the edge against the Texans. This team is skating by the skin of its teeth, but wins are wins.

No. 9: Los Angeles Rams

The Rams' dominant defense was back in Week 2. The offense took a whole half to get going, but quarterback Matthew Stafford seemed to find his chemistry with new wide receiver Davante Adams. The Rams look like an early favorite to take the NFC West this season.

No. 8: Washington Commanders

The Commanders were knocked on their heels in Week 2 against the Packers. Quarterback Jayden Daniels and wide receiver Terry McLaurin continue to struggle with their early-season chemistry. Never fear, the Commanders' slow offensive start is fixable. They have played two of the better defenses in the NFL after all.

No. 7: Detroit Lions

The Lions followed up a poor Week 1 performance with a dominant win of their own over the Bears on Sunday. The team's 52 points scored suggest that they may find their footing offensively after all. The NFC North appears to be loaded, but the Packers and the Lions are both in great positions to succeed.

No. 6: Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs find themselves in an early 0-2 hole. The team has not been able to get going on offense, although they did manage to connect for a couple of explosive plays against the Eagles on Sunday. The Chiefs are not in trouble yet, but with the way the Chargers are playing, Kansas City could be in for a Wild Card battle.

No. 5: Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers are looking like a great team this season. Despite stalling out on several drives on offense against the Raiders on Monday night, the defense was dominant. The Chargers have a championship-level defense and an elite quarterback. This team could realistically make a deep run this year.

No. 4: Green Bay Packers

The Packers look like one of the truly dominant teams in the NFL this season. They have utterly dominated the 2024 NFC runners-up and the 2024 NFC No. 1 seed in the first two weeks of the season. This team is riding an excellent defense, and they show no signs of slowing down.

No. 3: Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens completely dismantled the Browns on Sunday. The team nearly doubled a 12.5-point spread. Quarterback Lamar Jackson looks like an MVP candidate once again, and the Ravens are well on their way to defending their division title.

No. 2: Philadelphia Eagles

It has taken a bit of luck (namely, drops for the opposing team) for the Eagles to get to 2-0. As such, while this team is definitely one of the NFC's best, they still need to prove that they are utterly dominant. If a couple of plays in the first two weeks had gone the wrong way for the Eagles, they could very easily be 0-2.

No. 1: Buffalo Bills

The Bills are now in the top spot in the power rankings after a complete bludgeoning of the Jets on Sunday. The Bills ran wild on the Jets, who seemed never to get off the bus. Buffalo is a true AFC front-runner.
