Shedeur Sanders Tough to Trust Despite Favorable Week 14 Matchup
Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders will make his third NFL start in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans. The 23-year-old has struggled across three games (two starts) worth of action so far this season, completing 50.8% of his pass attempts for 405 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. On paper, Sanders has a favorable matchup in Week 14 against Tennessee. Entering the week, the Titans rank 31st among NFL defenses in yards per pass attempt allowed (7.9). Still, Sanders is currently averaging just 6.6 yards per pass attempt and has yet to throw more than 25 passes in a game this season. Cleveland could look to lean on its defense and run game to get the win against Tennessee. At best, Sanders profiles as a low-end fantasy QB2 in Week 14 against the Titans.

Keaton Mitchell Facing an Uphill Battle in Week 14
Baltimore Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell reached double-digit fantasy points for the first time this season against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13. He even finished as the RB27 in half-PPR formats, while getting a 13% snap share. Since Justice Hill (neck) remains sidelined, Mitchell has taken over the pass-catching work out of the backfield. He saw three targets and two carries in their previous game, but is still very far behind Derrick Henry. The Pittsburgh Steelers also present a very tough matchup against opposing run games, so Mitchell is projected as the RB42 on RotoBaller's rankings.

Colts Defense a Sneaky Option in Week 14 Against Jaguars
The Indianapolis Colts defense has been a solid unit for most of the season, ranking 10th in points allowed per game (20.8) and 21st in yards allowed (344.5). They're stout up front, with the sixth most sacks (35) and seventh fewest rushing yards per game (98.3), but have been vulnerable in the secondary, and even more so with star cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf) sidelined. However, there could be significant rain and wind on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which could benefit them. Trevor Lawrence has played well on a down-to-down basis since their Week 8 bye, ranking third among all quarterbacks in dropback success rate (52.1%). However, he remains one of the most turnover-prone quarterbacks in the league. With potential heavy wind and rain in the forecast, the Colts' defense could be in a good spot to generate a few takeaways—the Colts rank as RotoBaller's 17th defense for Week 14.

Cardinals Looking to Move on From Kyler Murray?
Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports that "it wouldn't surprise a lot of league executives if the Cardinals decide to move on" from quarterback Kyler Murray (foot) after the 2025 season. Murray has not played since Week 5 due to a foot injury, and reportedly will not return this season. The 28-year-old struggled across five starts, completing 68.3% of his pass attempts for 962 yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions. He has roughly $37 million in fully guaranteed money remaining on his current contract, but Russini reports that the Cardinals could "try to trade him or simply release him." In the midst of a disastrous 2025 season, it appears Arizona is looking to hit the reset button heading into 2026. There will almost certainly be interest from quarterback-needy teams in Murray in the offseason, but his contract could be a complicating factor in trade negotiations.

DeAndre Hopkins a Dart Throw Option Vs. Steelers
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins registered his best fantasy performance in half-PPR leagues since Week 5. The problem is that he only had four fantasy points in that game against the Cincinnati Bengals, which extends his streak of games with less than 10 fantasy points to 10 games. Despite the fact that he draws a favorable matchup in Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Hopkins is more of a dart throw option for fantasy managers in deeper leagues. In RotoBaller's rankings, Hopkins is projected as the WR72, so there should be better options on the waiver wire in standard-sized leagues.

Chargers "Expecting" Justin Herbert to Play in Week 14
Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports that "people I spoke to on the Chargers are expecting" quarterback Justin Herbert (hand) to play in Week 14 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Herbert suffered a metacarpal fracture in his left hand during his team's Week 13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders and had surgery this past Monday. He's been limited in practice this week, but it sounds as though he will try to give it a go against Philadelphia on Monday night. The 27-year-old has completed 66.9% of his passes for 2,842 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions across 12 starts so far this season. If Herbert suffers a setback and is unable to go, Trey Lance would take over under center for Los Angeles. If active, Herbert profiles as a mid-tier fantasy QB2 in Week 14.

Rashod Bateman a Risky Flex Option in Week 14
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman popped up as a limited participant on Thursday's practice report, but has since registered a full practice on Friday and is good to go against the Pittsburgh Steelers. While he'll be suiting up, his consistency hasn't been conducive to deploying him into fantasy lineups very often. He's only finished in WR3 territory or better twice, and he hasn't received more than two targets since Week 9 or more than two receptions since Week 3. The Steelers have given up the third-most fantasy points to opposing receivers this season, which gives Bateman a bit more value, but he's still projected as the WR70 on RotoBaller's rankings in Week 14.

Travis Etienne Jr. Remains Consistent RB2 Against Colts
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. is once again a solid fantasy RB option in Week 14 against the Indianapolis Colts. Jacksonville's passing offense dominated last week against the Tennessee Titans, but this week's matchup with massive playoff implications for the rest of the season should be a much closer affair. Etienne Jr. is coming off his least efficient performance of the season, putting up just 28 yards on 12 attempts, and also had a touchdown vultured by Bhayshul Tuten. Tuten is the main reason Etienne's upside is limited, but his usually consistent floor has kept him fantasy relevant. Etienne will look to bounce back and is ranked 16th among all running backs in a plus matchup versus the Titans in Week 14.

Ameer Abdullah Set to Back Up Taylor Once Again in Week 14
Indianapolis Colts running back Ameer Abdullah has filled the backup role to Jonathan Taylor this season. After recording at least one touch in the first six games he was active, the veteran running back has now gone back-to-back games without a touch. The 32-year-old running back has totaled eight carries for 40 yards and a touchdown, along with five receptions for 30 yards on six targets in eight games this season. Abdullah is unlikely to play a significant role in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he remains a decent handcuff to Taylor.

Kyle Pitts Sr. a TE1 in Favorable Matchup Against Seahawks
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. recorded his largest yardage total of the season in last week's 27-24 loss to the Jets, hauling in seven of his eight targets for 82 yards. With top receiver Drake London (knee) missing the last couple of games and also Week 8, the 6-foot-6 tight end has been Kirk Cousins' favorite target, looking his way a total of 22 times in those three contests. With London ruled out for Week 14 as well, the 25-year-old could again be the team's top receiving weapon, especially against the Seahawks, a defense that has been generally good against the pass, but that has given up the fourth-most PPR fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. The drawback here is that Pitts has one touchdown all season and has failed to garner a red zone target in four consecutive weeks now. Be that as it may, the former first-round draft pick still projects as a mid-range TE1 based on volume alone in this favorable matchup at home.

Trevor Lawrence Approaching QB1 Status in Week 14
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence had a big day last week against the Tennessee Titans and will look to replicate the effort against the Indianapolis Colts. Lawrence completed 16 of 27 passes for 229 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions, and rushed for 25 yards in last Sunday's win over the Titans. The Colts' defense has been average this season, so the Jaguars' offense is more than capable of rising to the occasion. In an essential matchup with playoff implications, both teams should be aggressive and push the ball down the field. The Colts are missing star cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf) as he's been ruled out with a calf injury, so their passing defense will be extra leaky in Week 14. Based on his recent upward trajectory and rushing upside, Lawrence should be viewed as a borderline QB1 and comes in as QB15 in the latest RotoBaller rankings for this week.

Mark Andrews Holding TE1 Value Against Steelers
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is fresh off of signing a new extension and becoming the triple-crown record breaker in franchise history (receiving touchdowns, receiving yards, and receptions). While his season hasn't been as consistent in years past, Andrews sits at TE13 overall in half-PPR formats. Isaiah Likely was predicted to cut into his production even more this season, but that hasn't happened yet. Andrews will go up against the Pittsburgh Steelers defense in Week 14, which presents a strong matchup for some fantasy points. They give up 15.81 fantasy points per game and have allowed 73 catches for 765 yards and seven touchdowns (6.1 catches and 63.8 yards on average). That lends to him currently projected as TE9 for half-PPR formats on RotoBaller's rankings.

Tyler Warren a High-End TE Option in Week 14 vs. Jaguars
Indianapolis Colts rookie tight end Tyler Warren has had an excellent rookie season, hauling in 58 receptions on 78 targets for 684 yards and five total touchdowns. The rookie first-rounder ranks as the TE7 in PPR points per game (13.1) and remains one of the top fantasy options at the tight end position heading into Week 14. The 23-year-old has a prime matchup against the division rival Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville has allowed the second-most PPR points to tight ends per game this season. Opposing tight ends have racked up 84 receptions in 12 games versus Jacksonville this season, only trailing the Cincinnati Bengals' abysmal defense. Warren is a must-start on Sunday, ranking as RotoBaller's TE3 in PPR leagues.

Kirk Cousins a Low-End Option Vs. Seahawks Without Top Receiver
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 234 yards and one touchdown in last week's 27-24 loss to the Jets, spreading the ball around to seven different receivers, each with at least two targets apiece. The veteran QB now has an unremarkable 3:1 TD:INT in three starts this season, and heads into a tough matchup in Week 14 against the Seahawks. Seattle's defense has yielded just 152.7 yards per game passing over their last three contests (sixth-fewest) and is middle of the pack in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing QBs. The game will be played indoors in Atlanta, but with the Falcons missing their top receiver, Drake London (knee), and with an implied team total of just 19 points, they are not expected to find the end zone frequently. It all points to Cousins being a very low-end QB2 for Sunday's showdown.

Alec Pierce A Reliable Option in Week 14 Against Jacksonville
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce has been the most productive pass catcher on the team over the most recent stretch of games. Pierce has scored both of his touchdowns on the season in two of the last three games, and he's cleared 75 receiving yards in three of the past four. The 25-year-old has leveled up and become a more complete wide receiver this season after serving primarily as a deep threat in previous years. He remains an elite vertical receiver, leading the league in yards per reception for a second straight season after topping the leaderboard last season. Pierce will look to stay hot in Week 14 against the division rival Jacksonville Jaguars, who rank middle of the pack in most pass defense metrics. He ranks as RotoBaller's WR33 in PPR leagues and is a solid WR3/FLEX option for Week 14.
