Bulls Hire Alex Kaufman as Windy City Bulls General Manager
The Chicago Bulls are hiring Alex Kaufman as general manager of their G League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls, and adding Jarrett Sutton as a scout, HoopsHype's Michael Scotto reports. Kaufman, who ran the Pelicans' G League operation last season, and Sutton both spent six years alongside new Bulls executive vice president Bryson Graham in New Orleans. The moves continue Graham's front-office buildout, which already added senior vice president Stephen Mervis and player personnel VP Acie Law last month. This one carries no immediate fantasy impact. The longer-term read matters more: Graham is consolidating a Pelicans-rooted scouting and development pipeline ahead of a pivotal draft for a 31-51 team, and a sharper Windy City operation shapes how Chicago grows its young and two-way prospects worth tracking in deeper formats.

E.J. Liddell Agrees to Two-Year Deal with Greek Club Aris
Brooklyn Nets forward/center E.J. Liddell has agreed to a two-year deal with Greek EuroCup club Aris, with only the official announcement pending, Eurohoops reports. The 25-year-old played on an expiring two-way contract last season and was headed for free agency this summer. Liddell appeared in 26 games with five starts for Brooklyn in 2025-26, averaging 5.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.9 assists on 48.6 percent shooting, then flashed upside with 18.4 points per game across five April contests. He added 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in 26 G League games with Long Island. Aris is spending aggressively under new coach Vassilis Spanoulis to chase the EuroCup title. For dynasty and deep-league managers who stashed Liddell after that April surge, the signing closes the book on his NBA stock for now.

Matas Buzelis Will Play for Lithuania This Summer
Chicago Bulls forward Matas Buzelis will make his debut for the Lithuanian national team this summer, according to Eurohoops. The 21-year-old is scheduled to participate in FIBA World Cup qualifying games in July. This presents a strong developmental opportunity, as the increased physicality of international play could help him further refine his skill set. The extra reps should be highly beneficial for Buzelis, who took a significant step forward during his sophomore campaign. He averaged 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in 29.2 minutes per game. If he continues to progress this summer, Buzelis could be an even more reliable fantasy performer heading into his third NBA season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Has Concerns About Heat Roster If Traded to Miami
According to The Athletic's Sam Amick during an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has questions about what the Miami Heat roster would look like after a potential trade. The rumored package is built around Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kel'el Ware, and draft capital, with Bam Adebayo considered off limits. The former MVP averaged 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists and shot 62.4% from the field this season. Antetokounmpo would remain an elite fantasy option in Miami, but the concern is real: if the Heat lose too much shooting and depth, his usage could climb while his efficiency and assist ceiling become more dependent on Adebayo and the pieces left around them.

Mitchell Robinson Has Technical Foul Rescinded After Game 2 Win
New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson had his Game 2 technical foul rescinded by the NBA following Friday's 105-104 win over the San Antonio Spurs. The league wiped the second-quarter call after Robinson and Victor Wembanyama shoved each other, with replays indicating Wembanyama shoved first. The 28-year-old has been a defensive anchor in the series, contesting Wembanyama's potential game-winner in the closing seconds and finishing Game 2 with seven points, three rebounds, one steal, and one block. Robinson is playing through a surgically repaired right pinky and works as a reserve behind Karl-Anthony Towns, which caps his minutes. For DFS lineups, his rebounding and rim protection carry some value, though poor free-throw shooting and a thin workload limit the ceiling ahead of Monday's Game 3 at Madison Square Garden.

Karl-Anthony Towns Eligible for Massive Extension
New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns is currently playing some excellent basketball, which could help his team secure a championship here soon. After the playoffs, the Knicks have a big decision to make about the future of Towns in New York. The big man has one guaranteed season left, with a player option for $61 million for the 2027-2028 season. Towns is currently eligible to sign a massive four-year, $272 million extension with the Knicks. It'll be interesting to see if the Knicks are willing to give Towns that kind of money. This past season, Towns averaged 20.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 3.0 assists across 31.0 minutes per game in 75 contests. He's one of the best centers in the game, but this kind of contract would make it tough for the team to potentially keep other key contributors.

Isaiah Stewart Could Draw Trade Interest
Detroit Pistons forward Isaiah Stewart could be an interesting trade target for teams this summer. Stewart is one of the best rim protectors in the league and is on a reasonable contract for the next two seasons. Last season, Stewart averaged career highs in blocks (1.6) while averaging 10.0 points and 5.0 rebounds across 22.7 minutes per game. The Pistons don't have a ton of incentive to trade him, especially with Jalen Duren possibly leaving in free agency. It wouldn't be shocking to see the Pistons feel out some trade offers, but they probably won't move Stewart unless they get blown away.

Jameer Nelson Promoted to Executive Vice President
The Philadelphia 76ers are promoting assistant general manager Jameer Nelson to be the team's executive vice president of basketball operations. Nelson will serve as the No. 2 to the Sixers' new team president, Mike Gansey. Elton Brand will not return as general manager in Philly and is currently in a new role within the organization. Brand has served as the Sixers' general manager since 2018. As for Nelson, he's quickly rising through roles within the organization. He joined the team as a scout and is now the second most important person in the front office. The shakeup in the front office could be a sign of change in the ways things are done in Philly.

Domantas Sabonis Could be Traded This Summer
Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis could be on the move this summer. The Kings were reportedly trying to trade Sabonis ahead of the trade deadline last season. They didn't get a deal done, and instead, Sabonis underwent season-ending surgery to repair a torn meniscus. Given the Kings' aging roster and cap situation, it's not shocking to see them attempting to move Sabonis again. The Kings have Maxime Raynaud, who earned second-team All-Rookie honors last season. Raynaud has shown the upside of being a starter and is under a cheaper rookie deal. Among the veterans on this roster, Sabonis will likely be the easiest to move. A move out of Sacramento might be best for his fantasy value with Raynaud waiting in the wings.

Dylan Harper Remains a Bright Spot for San Antonio
San Antonio Spurs rookie guard Dylan Harper supplied a spark off the bench in Friday's 105-104 Game 2 loss to the New York Knicks, finishing with 15 points, six rebounds, three assists, and one steal. The No. 2 pick in the 2025 draft scored efficiently inside, going 6-for-12 from the field and 3-for-4 at the line while missing all three of his triples. He was one of the few bright spots in the defeat, posting a team-high plus-12 despite the 2-0 series hole. Harper's bench role behind De'Aaron Fox caps his ceiling, but the efficient scoring and rotation minutes keep him a usable DFS option for Monday's Game 3.

De'Aaron Fox Shoots Well in a Loss to the Knicks
San Antonio Spurs guard De'Aaron Fox recorded 20 points, five assists, three rebounds, one steal, and one block in Friday's 105-104 Game 2 loss to the New York Knicks. The former Kentucky Wildcat shot a highly efficient 8-for-12 from the field, including 2-for-2 from three-point range. Despite his scoring touch, Fox struggled with ball security, committing four turnovers. His performance wasn't enough to prevent San Antonio from falling into a 2-0 hole in the NBA Finals. The veteran point guard remains a crucial offensive engine next to Victor Wembanyama and will need to maintain his aggression as the series shifts to Madison Square Garden.

Victor Wembanyama Scores 29 Points in Game 2 Loss
San Antonio Spurs forward/center Victor Wembanyama bounced back from a rough Game 1 showing in Friday's 105-104 loss to the New York Knicks, finishing with 29 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals, four blocks, and two three-pointers. The 22-year-old went 11-for-21 from the field and 5-for-8 at the line, giving fantasy managers the across-the-board production they have come to expect. The late-game sequence hurt, as Wembanyama committed a costly turnover and missed the potential winner, but his workload and defensive stats remain elite. San Antonio now trails 2-0, so he should stay heavily featured as the series shifts to New York.

OG Anunoby Anchors Knicks' Defense in Finals Game 2
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby provided a steady two-way presence in Friday's 105-104 Game 2 win over the San Antonio Spurs, finishing with 17 points, four rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks. The former Raptor shot 5-for-10 from the field, 2-for-5 from deep, and a perfect 5-for-5 at the line while drawing the primary assignment on Victor Wembanyama. His biggest moment came late, when he sank three free throws after a Julian Champagnie foul to retake the lead. Anunoby's three-and-D role gives him a dependable DFS floor, with that defensive workload and timely shooting keeping his line steady behind Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns.

Mikal Bridges Helps Knicks Secure a Game 2 Victory
New York Knicks guard/forward Mikal Bridges recorded 20 points, six rebounds, six assists, one steal, and four three-pointers in Friday's 105-104 Game 2 win over the San Antonio Spurs. The former Villanova standout was highly efficient on the offensive end, shooting 8-for-13 from the floor and 4-for-6 from three-point range. His efforts helped the Knicks secure a narrow victory and take a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals. Bridges has been a vital two-way presence for New York throughout the postseason, providing timely outside shooting alongside Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. He remains a reliable fantasy performer as the series shifts to Madison Square Garden for Game 3 on Monday.

Karl-Anthony Towns Records Another Finals Double-Double
New York Knicks forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns finished Friday's Game 2 win over the San Antonio Spurs with 21 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, one block, one steal, and three three-pointers in a 105-104 victory. He went 8-for-12 from the field and 2-for-2 at the line, giving New York a clean scoring option around the basket and from deep. Towns also spent key stretches battling Victor Wembanyama as the Knicks moved ahead 2-0 in the NBA Finals. After posting 18 points and 12 rebounds in Game 1, Towns has opened the series with back-to-back double-doubles, keeping his fantasy profile elite even when the late-game offense runs through Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges.
