Christian McCaffrey 2020 Outlook: Still The Best?
5 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey established himself as arguably one of the most productive fantasy options ever during the 2019 season. After an impressive first two years in the league, McCaffrey exploded last season by compiling 1,387 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground. While those numbers were impressive, he made some more noise, especially in PPR formats, by collecting 116 of his 142 targets for four additional scores while also surpassing the 1,000-yard mark as a quasi-receiver. With a fresh four-year, $64 million contract under his belt and the arrival of former Temple and Baylor head coach Matt Rhule calling the shots, the 23-year-old will--and should--remain the unanimous No. 1 selection in nearly every fantasy draft for the 2020 season.
