NBA Best Bets: Top Player Props & Novig Market Picks (Tuesday, 2/3/26)

Karl-Anthony Towns - Fantasy Basketball Rankings, NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Thunder Dan Palyo locks in his top NBA player props and best bets for Tuesday, 2/3/26. Capitalize on commission-free odds and market edges with today's top Novig picks.

After a pretty light Monday night slate, we're blessed with ten games in the Association tonight. The trade rumors are beginning to ramp up ahead of the Thursday afternoon deadline (please don't let the Cavs trade for Harden), but we still haven't seen many deals done. Perhaps it will pick up in the final hours, but for now, my main focus is on finding some winning wagers on NBA props tonight.

If you're reading this, then I am going to assume that you are an NBA bettor. Today's picks will all be using the odds on the most unique and fastest-growing sports prediction sites -- Novig. If you're not familiar with the site, I'll explain how it works and provide some of my favorite wagers to place on Novig.

As always, make sure you're following RotoBaller on X and download the RotoBaller app for all your fantasy football and betting needs. Now, here are some of my favorite NBA bets and player props for Tuesday night's games.

Featured Promo: New Novig users get a $25 purchase match (50% discount up to $25) on your first Novig deposit, and 6 free months of RotoBaller's "Big-4" Premium Pass (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL) which includes exclusive tools for Betting, Props, DFS and more! CLAIM IT NOW

What is Novig?

Novig is one of the fastest-growing peer-to-peer sports prediction markets. On Novig, users trade directly with each other, without the "vig" typically associated with a sportsbook. The vig is the fee sportsbooks charge you to use their services. It's a hidden cost that can be found in the odds that are being offered on each side of a specific bet. When a book offers -110 odds on both sides of a bet, they're keeping close to 10% of every bettor's wager, regardless of whether you win or lose.

On Novig, users trade with each other on the outcomes of sporting events, similarly to the way that investors trade on the stock market. But instead of having to beat the books, you just have to win against other users -- there's no commission kept by the site.

Users can bet on most traditional sports markets, including moneyline bets, spreads, totals, player props, parlays, and futures!

Novig operates with two virtual currencies. Novig coins can be wagered for fun and to test out strategies, while Novig cash can be wagered on all markets and then redeemed for real cash prizes.

Access to Novig is widespread; it's now accessible in 36 U.S. states.

How Does Novig Work?

Since users are not playing against the books, there is an opportunity to make more money per wager that you win, and users can usually find better values on bets (in terms of the prices being offered) than on traditional sportsbooks.

There are no oddsmakers; users dictate their own odds. You can either accept the odds that the market is offering or set your own odds.

If you set your own odds, another user has to accept them on the other side for the bet to be activated.

Users drive the market, not the sportsbook or oddsmakers!

NBA Prop Bet Picks

All odds are from Novig and were accurate as of 7:00 AM ET

Michael Porter Jr. OVER 24.5 Points (-125)

MPJ has missed the last two games for the Nets, as he was rested on Friday and then missed Sunday's game due to personal reasons. He should return tonight against the Lakers and has another opportunity to showcase his skills ahead of the deadline, in case the Nets decide to trade him to a contender for some assets (they should definitely do this, but you never know - they're the Nets).

This line is too low, as MPJ has scored 30+ points in three of his last four and dominates the usage on this Nets team. The Lakers are allowing the most points to opposing small forwards over the last 30 days, so the matchup here is actually quite good.

Brooklyn plays just enough defense that they can hang with the Lakers in this one, allowing Porter Jr. to play his full allotment of minutes and cash his points prop tonight.

Ryan Rollins Jr. OVER 20.5 Points (-125)

The Bucks are struggling pretty mightily without their superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo in the lineup. However, one bright spot for Milwaukee continues to be the play of Ryan Rollins, who continues to break out in his second season as a Buck.

Rollins has the lead guard role to himself as Kevin Porter Jr. is also out tonight and for a while going forward. In nine games without Giannis or KPJ, Rollins is averaging 23.9 points per game and has gone for 21+ seven times.

The Bucks are only three-point underdogs in this one, as Chicago is without several starters and not exactly a great defensive team. I expect Rollins to continue to attack the rim and lead this Milwaukee offense, and as long as he's playing big minutes, I think he's a safe bet to cruise over his points prop.

Karl-Anthony Towns OVER 14.5 Rebounds + Assists (-148)

Mitchell Robinson is out tonight, so KAT will play even more minutes at center, which bodes quite well for his rebounding. He's coming off back-to-back 20+ rebound games and is averaging 3.1 assists this season as well. The Wizards rank near the bottom of the league in boards allowed to opposing big men - both on the season and over the more recent 30-day sample.

Look for Towns to hammer the boards tonight. This prop is already juiced, but I wanted to include it here for my 3-pick parlay, and so I could mention that I am comfortable betting it at 15.5 once it moves later today.

NBA Value Props

All odds are from Novig and were accurate as of 7:00 AM ET

Tobias Harris OVER 13.5 Points (-101)

Am I really going to trust Tobias Harris to show up tonight? I can't help but love this spot for Harris as the Nuggets are allowing the third-most points to opposing small forwards over the last month. We also have proof that he can get there, as he posted 22 points against the Nuggets as recently as January 27th.

This should be a close game, and while Harris's minutes have been all over the place this year, I think he'll likely play a solid amount tonight as Detroit will need his floor spacing and shot-making to keep pace with Denver, which has Jokic back and should be firing on all cylinders.

Isaiah Collier OVER 13.5 Points (-113)

Collier is set to make another start at point guard for the Jazz tonight with Keyonte George out. He scored 19 points on Sunday in a spot start against the Raptors, easily clearing this bar. He's now made three starts without George in the lineup this season, scoring 12, 16, and 19 points in those games.

He's known as more of a pass-first point guard, but his assist prop is juiced at 7.5, and I'm a bit timid to take it at 8.5. I would rather bet on his scoring, which takes a bigger jump with George out than his passing. It certainly helps that the Pacers are allowing the most points to opposing point guards in the league over the last 30 days, too.

Aaron Nesmith OVER 14.5 Points (-104)

On the other side of this game, the Pacers guys are all in pretty good spots against this bad Jazz defense. But I like Nesmith's matchup the best as the Jazz are allowing the third-most points to opposing small forwards over the last 30 days.

Nesmith has been in good form lately, too, averaging 17.8 points over his last five games and going over this 14.5-point prop in four of those contests. He's shooting the ball well from behind the arc and continues to function as the top option on the wing for Indiana in the starting lineup, with Bennedict Mathurin now coming off the bench.

Pelle Larsson OVER 12.5 Points (+100)

This one is a little riskier, but the odds reflect that risk, too. Larsson is on fire right now, scoring 15, 22, and 20 points in his last three games. He has benefited from the Heat missing Tyler Herro and Norman Powell from the starting lineup. Herro remains out tonight, but Powell could return and complicate things a bit.

However, Larsson could still start at small forward, with Jaime Jaquez Jr. more likely to come off the bench. If Powell plays, Larsson could see his minutes slide back into the mid-20s, but I think he's still a talented enough scorer to get there in this matchup, as the Hawks have really struggled defensively of late.
