Stefon Diggs 2019 Player Outlook - This Can Be His Best Stuff Yet
6 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver has been steadily building his skills throughout his young career. After totaling 102 catches for 1,021 yards and nine touchdowns last season, he'll be looking to top that this year. With another year of chemistry development between he and quarterback Kirk Cousins, he has the chance to do just that. Diggs has the speed and route-running ability to make up for his lack of raw size. He has made multiple corners look silly trying to cover him over the last few seasons. The Vikings didn't really add any major threats at the wide receiver position, so the only one he has to contend with his pro bowl teammate Adam Thielen. After that, running back Dalvin Cook is the only real threat to take touches away from Diggs. Diggs was also slowed by an injury last year that held him back from putting up even better numbers. After getting fully healthy this offseason, he should be poised to finish as a borderline WR1 this season if the Vikings offense is able to get on a role early.
