Marshawn Lynch 2018 Outlook: Beast Mode Is Back?
6 years agoAfter a slow start to his return to the NFL in 2017, Marshawn Lynch got rolling over the second-half. Over the Raiders final eight games "Beast Mode" averaged 70 yards per game and scored five touchdowns. And over the teams last six games he handled 14 or more carries in all but one. With new head coach Jon Gruden at the helm, Lynch could be featured heavily and has little competition for carries. With a year under his belt to knock the rust off, Lynch could return to the form that we are used to seeing and could be a steal at his current ADP. To add to the appeal, the Raiders offense can't be worse than last year, right? If they improve he should see more red zone and goal line work and could push for double-digit touchdowns after finishing with seven a year ago. While his ceiling is a bit capped in PPR leagues due to his complete lack of pass catching, he is a great value in standard formats.
