DraftKings College Basketball DFS Lineup Picks for 1/11/23 - CBB Daily Fantasy Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 1/11/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

We have another big slate with 11 games on the docket for tonight. The appetizer is Mississippi State in Athens to take on the Bulldogs. 7 pm brings us a bulk of the action with Alabama in Fayetteville going hog hunting. Indiana heads to Penn State in an interesting Big Ten(14) matchup. Creighton is on their way to Cincinnati to take on Xavier. UConn heads to Milwaukee to take on Marquette. Boston College gets a winter vacation to Miami, but there is a Hurricane warning. Pitt heads to Cameron Indoor to take on Duke. Virginia Tech heads to the Loud House to take on Syracuse. Baylor heads for the mountains of West Virginia. The 7 pm slate finally ends with Memphis in Orlando to take on UCF.

We have to wait until 8:30 for the final tip of the night in College Station when the Aggies welcome Missouri. This is going to be another fun one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/11/23, starting at 6:30 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Jalen Pickett, Penn State ($9,600)

Pickett has at least 42 DraftKings points in all five Big Ten(14) contests so far this year. They aren't just feasting on cupcakes either. Penn State has played Michigan, Iowa, Purdue, Michigan State, and Illinois. Win or lose, Pickett has been a sure thing in DFS thanks to his constant flirtation with triple-doubles. One of these nights, he's going to get the callback. It might be tonight!

Adam Flagler, Baylor ($8,200)

This isn't the same Baylor team as the last couple of years when they just beat everyone into submission. This team isn't as physical, but that makes them a more exciting team in some ways. One way is scoring. The Bears have only scored under 70 points three times all season! Flagler is a big reason for that. He has scored at least 20 points in three of the last four games, all while putting up good peripheral stats. This is a game where they might be in the 60s, but Flagler still put up 30 DraftKings points against Iowa State on New Year's Eve despite the team scoring only 62 points. Flagler is a low-risk option with a good upside.

Stevie Mitchell, Marquette ($4,700)

Even though Mitchell only played 20 minutes against Georgetown over the weekend because of foul trouble, he still racked up 24.25 DraftKings points. That's his fourth consecutive game over the 20 mark. Mitchell has become a trusted part of this offense and has piled up 11 steals in those four games. He has a high floor and serious upside at a very low price.

Elijah McCadden, Memphis ($3,700)

McCadden has started three of the last four games for Memphis and has responded with 79.25 DraftKings points in that span. He's dropping 20s at less than $4k. McCadden is a great play in any format. Take this bargain while you can and get different elsewhere.

Also consider: Souley Boum, Xavier ($8,900); Joe Girard III, Syracuse ($7,900); Jalen Hood-Schifino, Indiana ($7,800); Jordan Hawkins, Connecticut ($7,300); Nijel Pack, Miami ($6,500); Jaeden Zackery, Boston College ($5,500); Jaden Bradley, Alabama ($4,700); DeMarr Langford, Boston College ($4,500); Jayhlon Young, Central Florida ($4,400)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana ($9,800)

TJD might have to sit out with a sore back sometime soon from carrying the Hoosiers with Xavier Johnson and Race Thompson both out. Jalen Hood-Schifino helps him a lot on offense, but TJD is doing everything else. He racked up a staggering 24 rebounds against Northwestern with eight assists and his customary 18 points (he averages 17.7). He won't dominate the Penn State front quite as much, but the 156.25 DraftKings points over the last three contests speak for themselves. TJD is getting his no matter what.

Zach Freemantle, Xavier ($8,000)

We have seen some bigs put up similarly big numbers against Creighton recently. Not all of them were on a heater coming into the game like Freemantle is. Freemantle has at least 40 DraftKings points in three of his last four games, including 99 combined between UConn and Villanova...two really sound teams. Freemantle doesn't have quite the ceiling that TJD does, but he can obliterate value at this price just like TJD can.

Quinten Post, Boston College ($6,500)

Post has only played three games so far this year since he missed the first six weeks with a foot injury, but he is making up for the lost time. For context, his three games have come against Syracuse, Duke, and Notre Dame, so we know it has been against good competition. He has 70.5 DraftKings points in 69 minutes in those three games. That's a great production for this price. I still don't see Post cracking 30 minutes in the near future, but at this price, he doesn't need to.

David Joplin, Marquette ($4,600)

Joplin only plays about 20 minutes on a good day because he is routinely in foul trouble. I'll take that from a guy that produces like he does when he's on the court. Joplin is an efficient scorer and good rebounder who can knock down some outside shots when needed. He does have a decent upside for those games when he doesn't find himself under the referee's whistle. He has 13 straight games scoring double-digit DraftKings points, so he's a relatively low-risk value play.

Also consider: Brandon Miller, Alabama ($9,200); Norchad Omier, Miami ($8,500); Blake Hinson, Pittsburgh ($8,100); Taylor Hendricks, Central Florida ($7,700); Seth Lundy, Penn State ($7,100); Dariq Whitehead, Duke ($5,900); Charles Bediako, Alabama ($5,000); Lynn Kidd, Virginia Tech ($4,900)
