Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Pickups - Week 12

Justin Carter's fantasy football wide receiver waiver wire pickups for Week 12 of the 2019 NFL season. These are free agent WRs to add, stream and stash.

Week 11 is behind us and we're getting closer and closer to the end of the fantasy regular season. For some of us, Week 12 represents the final chance to get into the postseason, while for others we have another week or two left.

Here, to help you get ready for the playoffs, is a super sized look at some wide receivers who are likely available in your leagues.

Not all options are the same. Some players may be better in PPR or deeper leagues, so it’s not a one-size-fits-all comparison. Use your best judgment when deciding which of these players is the right fit for your roster. Check here for a complete list of our Waiver Wire Adds for Week 12 for help at all the skill positions. All players on this list here are around 30% owned or below.

WR Waiver Wire - Free Agents To Consider Adding

Kenny Stills, Houston Texans - 23% owned

The thing with Stills is that his value is directly linked to Will Fuller's availability. If Fuller's hamstring keeps acting up and he's unable to play against the Colts on Thursday, Still has a chance to be a fantasy WR3 based on his volume. If Fuller plays, Stills is totally off the fantasy radar.

Hunter Renfrow, Oakland Raiders - 14% owned

Sunday was the third game in a row where Renfrow saw at least five targets. He finished with five catches for 66 yards, a solid but not spectacular outing for the rookie.

Renfrow's role in Oakland isn't designed for him to break out, but he's capable of providing fantasy owners with a solid floor out of the slot. He's developed into Derek Carr's favorite wide receiver to target, and he should be able to make some solid work happen against the Jets.

Randall Cobb, Dallas Cowboys - 14% owned

The Cowboys have morphed into a passing team and Cobb's been one of the biggest beneficiaries of that switch. He's gotten at least seven targets in three straight games and has now posted back-to-back 100-yard, one-touchdown games. Against the Lions, Cobb had four catches for 115 yards and a score, and while some drops kept him from having an even bigger day, he's looking like a solid contributor. His upcoming schedule is scary, but he's also trending up.

Nelson Agholor, Philadelphia Eagles - 13% owned

With DeSean Jackson done for the year and Alshon Jeffery (ankle) out, Agholor did what he does best: stepped into a larger role and didn't do much with it. He was targeted nine times, hauling in four of them for 40 yards. He continues to have drop issues and isn't someone you want to trust if you don't have to, but it's worth monitoring him because the workload is there.

Anthony Miller, Chicago Bears - 13% owned

Miller had vanished lately, seeing just three targets total over the past two weeks. But the Bears dedicated themselves to the pass on Sunday night, which led to Miller getting 10 targets. He caught six of them for 54 yards. Miller's maybe worth grabbing in deeper leagues, though the uncertainty at the quarterback position in Chicago puts a damper on things somewhat.

Chris Conley, Jacksonville Jaguars - 13% owned

Nick Foles is back at quarterback for the Jaguars, which in theory should mean good things for this passing attack. Conley was targeted eight times on Sunday, the fourth game in a row where he had at least seven target. He caught six of them for 58 yards, and might be overtaking Dede Westbrook as the team's second option. I worry about consistency, but Conley is getting hotter at a good time.

N'Keal Harry, New England Patriots - 12% owned

Harry finally made his NFL debut, catching three of his four targets for 18 yards. Not great, but he got his feet wet and should grow into a bigger role over the next few weeks. I'm not sure if I'll be able to trust Harry in re-draft leagues at any point this year, but I can see the argument for rostering him and seeing how he looks with more snaps.

James Washington, Pittsburgh Steelers - 8% owned

Washington had three catches for 49 yards against the Browns, but the most important thing is that he might be the only healthy Steelers wide receiver heading into a meeting with the Bengals. In that scenario, Washington should see plenty of work and rates as a fantasy WR3.

Taylor Gabriel, Chicago Bears - 7% owned

Let's circle back to the Bears for a second. Gabriel was targeted 14 times against the Rams, hauling in seven of them for 57 yards. That's so many targets, and they weren't necessarily coming out of nowhere, as he had six targets last week. An increased workload for Gabriel makes me interested in him in 14-team leagues, though as with Miller, lot of questions about Mitch Trubisky and if he's still the starting quarterback after Chase Daniel came in against Los Angeles.

Olabisi Johnson, Minnesota Vikings - 2% owned

Johnson was targeted nine times with Adam Thielen (hamstring) sidelined. Minnesota has a bye week coming up, so Thielen should be healed up by Minnesota's next game. But if he isn't, Johnson's a solid dart throw in deep PPR leagues.

Kendrick Bourne, San Francisco 49ers - 1% owned

Bourne has found the end zone three weeks in a row, and he's now been targeted 14 times over the past two games. Not a high yardage player, but Jimmy Garoppolo likes to target him in the red zone, which is

Scott Miller, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 0% owned

I was a big Scott Miller fan before the season, but he hasn't really had a role with Tampa Bay. On Sunday he was targeted six times, catching four of them or 71 yards. I think he could develop into a solid slot guy for Tampa, though his ceiling is capped by the presence of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Kelvin Harmon, Washington Redskins - 0% owned

I'd honestly forgotten about the rookie Harmon, but he had season highs in targets (six), catches (five) and yards (53) on Sunday. He should continue to step into a larger role for a Washington team that's going nowhere, and at the very least needs to be rostered in dynasty leagues, even if you avoid him in re-draft.

Allen Hurns, Miami Dolphins - 0% owned

Hurns got signed to a contract extension and appears to be skyrocketing up the depth chart in Miami. Six targets and four receptions were both season highs. 53 yards tied a season high. If you're desperate enough, you can see some reasons to grab Hurns in deep leagues. We've seen his talent back in his Jaguars days.
