Michael Penix Jr. a Mid-Range QB2 for Matchup With Colts in Germany
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. appears to be rounding into form after a slow, inconsistent start to the season, now with a touchdown pass in four straight games and a 7:1 TD:INT over that span. While that's a positive, the 25-year-old is completing just 60.8 percent of his passes, which is the fourth-lowest mark in the NFL, only slightly better than the likes of Cam Ward (57.6 percent) and Dillon Gabriel (59.9 percent), so he can be hard to trust for fantasy. Week 10 brings a road matchup against the Colts in Berlin, Germany, a defense that is middle of the pack in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing QBs, and that has allowed the fourth-most passing YPG in the NFL over the last three games (268.7). Penix has a lower completion percentage on the road (56.1 percent), but Indianapolis has been more forgiving on the road, allowing 24.5 points per game on the road compared to 16.6 PPG at home. They'll also be without pass-rushing DT DeForest Buckner, which should give Penix a bit more time to throw, and as 6.5-point underdogs, that's likely what he'll have to do. Even so, the left-handed QB shapes up as a mid-range QB2 in Week 10.

Tyler Shough Aims to Bounce Back After Tough First Start
New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough went 15-for-24 for 176 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in his first career start against the Rams. He led the Saints on a 71-yard touchdown drive to close out the first half but otherwise struggled to sustain offense, with New Orleans holding the ball for just 16:07 compared to Los Angeles' 43:53. The Saints also traded receiver Rashid Shaheed, Shough's most targeted player in the loss, to Seattle at the deadline. On the positive side, Shough wasn't afraid to air it out, connecting with both Shaheed and Chris Olave on completions of over 25 yards. He'll look to rebound against the division-rival Carolina Panthers, who are allowing 205.8 passing yards per game, 15th in the league. Shough remains off fantasy radars for now.

Parker Washington a PPR Flex Play in Week 10
Despite a difficult matchup with the Houston Texans, Parker Washington seems like a solid flex starter this week. With Brian Thomas Jr. out of the lineup, Washington seems like the prime candidate to step up as the top target. The Jaguars did acquire Jakobi Meyers via trade, but time will tell how quickly he gets acclimated. That all could mean plenty of targets for Washington, but efficiency is more of a question mark. The young receiver surprisingly had a season-high 11 targets earlier this season against the Texans, and is coming off 19 combined targets the last two weeks. The Jaguars offense may struggle, but it at least seems Washington will catch plenty of passes to have a solid fantasy day in Week 10.
Texans Made Calls Inquiring About Breece Hall
The Houston Texans made calls to the New York Jets about running back Breece Hall, according to Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle. The Texans were looking to make a big splash at the deadline with the Jets' star running back, but the asking price was ultimately too high for their liking. Hall was discussed in multiple trade rumors before the deadline, most commonly linked to the Kansas City Chiefs, but the Texans were apparently looking to make an upgrade to their running back room as well. Veteran Nick Chubb and rookie Woody Marks will continue to split reps in Houston's backfield moving forward, with neither presenting significant fantasy upside behind a poor offensive line.

Dyami Brown a Risky Flex Play in Week 10
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dyami Brown (concussion) has been cleared to play, but remains a risky flex at best against the Houston Texans. With Brian Thomas Jr. ruled out this week, Brown should get opportunities to make plays in Week 10. However, the Jaguars offense hasn’t been the best this season, and the Texans defense has been stout, especially against the pass. That means it will likely be tough for the Jaguars offense as whole to move the ball well, reducing Brown’s upside. That is especially true with recent acquisition Jakobi Meyers potentially heavily involved moving forward. If fantasy managers are in need of a waiver-wire flex play, they can do worse than Brown, but in a tough matchup, the upside seemingly isn’t there.
Jakobi Meyers a Boom-or-Bust Flex in Week 10
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jakobi Meyers will look to get involved in the offense in Week 10, his first week with the team. With Brian Thomas Jr. out, Meyers has a chance to prove to the team they made the right call in acquiring him. Last week, it was Parker Washington who stepped up with 8 catches for 90 yards. However, the Texans pass defense is one of the best in the NFL, so it may be difficult for the whole offense to step up. That makes Meyers a risky start. Meyers has a chance to be the top target this week which raises his upside, but being on a new team with a tough matchup makes it hard to predict how he will do in Week 10.
Travis Etienne Jr. Still in RB2 Territory Against Texans
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. has been a solid fantasy starter this season, which should continue in Week 10. The Houston Texans serve as a somewhat difficult matchup, but are more difficult for passing offenses than rushing offenses. With quite a few receiving options banged heading into this week, the Jaguars could decide to lean on the run game more. Etienne Jr. is coming off a 22 carry, five reception game with 115 total yards against the Las Vegas Raiders. That potential volume gives the Clemson product a solid fantasy floor. Fantasy managers should feel fine starting Etienne Jr. in one of their RB slots against the Texans in Week 10.
Bhayshul Tuten a Touchdown-Dependent Desperation Play in Week 10
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten has a small chance to be more involved, but is still a risky start in Week 10. The receiving core for the Jaguars is currently banged up, which led them to rely on the run game more last week. That led Tuten to get 10 total touches and find the end zone, but he only produced 28 total yards. The rookie should be involved again against a top defense that’s especially strong against the pass, making him seem like a potentially decent option. However, the floor is very low given his backup status to Travis Etienne Jr. He should be involved in the game plan, but Tuten is still better left on benches in Week 10.
James Cook Primed to Feast Again in Miami
Buffalo Bills running back James Cook has been removed from the injury report and will play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, presumably without any limitations. This is great news for Cook and his fantasy managers, as a matchup against the Dolphins provides an enormous opportunity for the 26-year-old to rack up fantasy points. Miami has been miserable against the run this year, surrendering the third-most rushing yards and fifth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs in 2025. Cook is the overall RB7 in PPR leagues so far with 867 rushing yards, 100 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. In his last outing against Miami, he accrued 118 scrimmage yards and one touchdown. Fantasy managers should have full confidence deploying Cook as a mid-to-high RB1 this week.

Jaguars D/ST a Great Streaming Option Against Texans
The Jacksonville Jaguars defense/special teams unit has a plus matchup in Week 10 against the Houston Texans. The Houston offense has been inconsistent this season, but with Davis Mills starting at QB, things may get even more difficult for them. That is great news for the Jaguars, who currently sit third in the NFL in takeaways. The only menacing threat to the Jaguars defense is Nico Collins, so as long as they can corral him, they should be in line for multiple sacks and turnovers. Fantasy managers should be starting the Jaguars D/ST unit with confidence in Week 10.
Panthers Defense a Top Option Against Struggling Divisional Opponent
The Carolina Panthers D/ST should be started in most fantasy leagues ahead of their Week 10 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. While the Panthers' defense has ranked below league-average in terms of fantasy production through the first nine weeks of the season, they're a must-start unit with a great opportunity to get right against the Saints on Sunday. New Orleans has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing D/ST units, and Tyler Shough threw an interception with just 176 passing yards last week. Meanwhile, Carolina has momentum of its own, allowing just 13 points and forcing two turnovers in an impressive win over the Green Bay Packers last week. Managers should start the Panthers D/ST with confidence this week, even if it means picking them up off the waiver wire. After all, the unit ranks #3 in RotoBaller's Week 10 D/ST rankings for fantasy football.

Olamide Zaccheaus Not Worth Considering in Week 10
Chicago Bears wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus is coming off his best game of the season, catching six of eight targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in the 47-42 win over Cincinnati. His expanded role came with Cole Kmet and Luther Burden III sidelined, but both are expected to return in Week 10 against the Giants. With Chicago's receiving corps back to full strength (plus 25 mph winds likely limiting the passing game), Zaccheaus is set to move back into a secondary role. Even with a favorable matchup, he should not be in fantasy lineups this week.

Jeremy McNichols Could Be Option In Deep PPR Leagues For Week 10
Washington Commanders running back Jeremy McNichols has maintained a consistent role as the team's most trusted option on pass downs. McNichols has totaled 17 carries for 143 yards and a touchdown to go with 12 catches on 17 targets for 129 yards in nine games this season. The 29-year-old led Washington in receiving in their Week 8 loss at Kansas, catching five of his six targets for 64 yards, the second most in a game of his career. That was also his highest snap share in a game this season at 43.4%, but he's mostly been limited to late down responsibilities while rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Chris Rodriguez Jr. handle the early down carries. In a Week 10 matchup where Washington is a sizable home underdog against the Lions, McNichols could be on the field more often in a negative game script. McNichols has some sneaky PPR value in deeper leagues on Sunday.

Cam Little a Solid Starting Kicker in Week 10
Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little’s stock is on the rise after nailing an NFL-record 68-yard field goal last week. However, with the Jaguars offense banged up, his long distance ability may not translate into enough opportunities for a big fantasy day. The Jaguars will be without Brian Thomas Jr., so it will be even harder for them to move the ball against what is already a tough matchup to start with. In their previous matchup with the Texans this season, the Jaguars scored just 17 points with more healthy weapons, so it’s hard to see the upside with Little this week. However, he still should be viewed as a solid option given his big leg and solid floor this season. Little should be considered a low end starting kicker in Week 10.
Tetairoa McMillan a Must-Start if Active for Divisional Contest
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints, and head coach Dave Canales acknowledged that he's concerned about the rookie's status. However, if McMillan does suit up on Sunday, he'll rank as a low-end WR2 and should be started in all fantasy leagues. The 22-year-old has found plenty of success in his first pro season, catching 41 passes for 558 yards and two touchdowns while ranking as the overall WR21 in PPR leagues. He's a high-volume target in an offense that passes the ball a decent amount; he had both a 100-yard game and a multi-touchdown game within the first six weeks of his NFL debut. McMillan is a strong WR2 option for the rest of the season, but as long as he's on the injury report, managers will need to confirm his availability 90 minutes before kickoff.
