Quincy's NFL QB power rankings for Week 12 of the 2025 season. He ranks all 32 starting NFL quarterbacks before Week 12, from Josh Allen to Shedeur Sanders.
It was the best of times and it was the worst of times for NFL quarterbacks in Week 11. Sam Darnold was seeing ghosts again, but Josh Allen was lights out. Bryce Young had a career day, and we got our first look at rookie Shedeur Sanders. However, Cleveland fans may wish that we were never subjected to that travesty. It was another week in the NFL, full of several storylines.
Overall, quarterback play was solid in Week 11. The level of play led to several very good games. Even games that were not one-score games felt like they came down to the wire. This is the NFL we want to see at this time of year. Competitive playoff-level games with a lot on the line breed an uptick in the play of signal callers. It is great to see that the league has so many solid players under center this year.
As is the norm, it is time to check out where every quarterback sits in the power rankings as we head into Week 12. There is a bit of a shake-up at the top and at the bottom. Enough talk, let's dive in.

No. 32: Shedeur Sanders - Cleveland Browns
Shedeur Sanders will be granted his first start of the season on Sunday with Dillon Gabriel out with a concussion. The Browns have seemed averse to playing Sanders to this point. Perhaps he can do enough to make this an interesting competition.
No. 31: Cameron Ward - Tennessee Titans
Ward does not come in as the cellar quarterback this week with Sanders entering the fold. Additionally, Ward has demonstrated solid ability over the last couple of games played. Perhaps he can build on his momentum coming out of the bye.
No. 30: Tyrod Taylor - New York Jets
Taylor will be the starting quarterback for the Jets this Sunday and beyond. Taylor has primarily been a backup throughout his career. Now in his late 30s, Taylor finds himself with what is likely his last chance to start in the NFL. He has enjoyed success in the past. Hopefully, he can do so again in Week 12.
No. 29: Kirk Cousins - Atlanta Falcons
Cousins is taking over for the injured Michael Penix Jr. for the rest of the season. Cousins has not looked great in relief of Penix throughout this season. For the Falcons' sake, hopefully, he can demonstrate some promise for the rest of the season.
No. 28: Geno Smith - Las Vegas Raiders
Smith continues to struggle in a Raiders offense devoid of help. At this point, Smith is playing for his NFL future, and perhaps that of head coach Pete Carroll.
No. 27: Tyler Shough - New Orleans Saints
Shough demonstrated solid promise before the Saints' Week 11 bye. The rest of the season is an audition for Shough, who was hand-picked by the current regime. Perhaps he will do enough to convince the Saints that he is worthy of another season as the starter.
No. 26: Marcus Mariota - Washington Commanders
Mariota enters the bye fresh off another loss with the Commanders. Washington remains steadfast that Jayden Daniels will take over under center once he is healthy. However, one can only wonder if it will be worth it if the Commanders continue to lose.
No. 25: J.J. McCarthy - Minnesota Vikings
McCarthy is demonstrating that he has a rare clutch gene. Unfortunately, his inaccuracy this season is a huge concern. McCarthy's QBR is also in the basement of the league right now. Everyone must remind themselves that we are only five starts into his career.
No. 24: Tua Tagovailoa - Miami Dolphins
Tagovailoa is starting to play better football after a rough start to the season. The Dolphins have strung together a couple of wins in a row as they continue to play for the sake of head coach Mike McDaniel. Still, Tagovailoa needs to continue to improve to secure his own future.
No. 23: Jaxson Dart - New York Giants
Dart looks like he will return to the fold this week after suffering a concussion that kept him out of Week 11. This will be Dart's first game without head coach Brian Daboll. Hopefully, Dart is still able to produce without Daboll moving forward.
No. 22: Jacoby Brissett - Arizona Cardinals
Although the wins are not flowing, Brissett is playing quarterback in Arizona far better than Kyler Murray has in recent seasons. Brissett has always been a quality backup, and he continues to demonstrate that he should be employed for as long as he wants to remain in the NFL.
No. 21: Joe Flacco - Cincinnati Bengals
As of now, it is unclear whether Flacco or Joe Burrow, yes, Burrow, will start for the Bengals on Sunday. Burrow has remained steadfast in his goal to play on Thanksgiving, but he is practicing in full. Burrow could bump Flacco as soon as Week 12.
No. 20: C.J. Stroud - Houston Texans
Stroud is set to miss another game with his concussion. Players do not often miss three or more weeks with the injury, so we can only hope that Stroud is doing ok and his inability to clear the protocol this week is in part due to the Texans' short week.
No. 19: Bryce Young - Carolina Panthers
Young just delivered a career day with 448 passing yards in a massive win over the Falcons. Young is playing for his future in Carolina, and he is doing a good job of such. The Panthers are in position to compete for the NFC South title, and Young is at the center of it all.

No. 18: Trevor Lawrence - Jacksonville Jaguars
Lawrence and the Jaguars continue to remain inconsistent, yet effective. Lawrence rode the running game to a dominant victory over the Chargers in Week 11. With two matchups remaining against Indianapolis, the AFC South title remains within reach for Jacksonville.
No. 17: Aaron Rodgers - Pittsburgh Steelers
Rodgers has a partially broken left wrist, but it sounds like he may play through the injury. Rodgers does not have a lot of time left in the league, and, understandably, he would not want to sit out. You have to admire the grit of the 41-year-old.
No. 16: Caleb Williams - Chicago Bears
Williams has been great in the fourth quarter this season. However, Williams is not playing well throughout the rest of the games. Williams' completion percentage is 59.6% this season. That is by no means world-beating, and it absolutely needs to improve.
No. 15: Justin Herbert - Los Angeles Chargers
Herbert was beaten up on Sunday behind a depleted Chargers offensive line. Herbert continues to remain near the top of the league in most passing categories, which is a testament to his talent. He needs more help if the Chargers are to reach their goals this season.
No. 14: Jordan Love - Green Bay Packers
Love was dropping dimes on Sunday against the Giants. Although the final box score was not eye-popping, Love continues to demonstrate the talent that made him one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL. In a wide-open NFC North, anything can happen if Love can consistently perform at a high level.
No. 13: Bo Nix - Denver Broncos
As stated in last week's column, the Broncos will go as far as Nix will take them. In Week 11, Nix was able to lead the Broncos to a huge win over the Chiefs. Denver now looks like the AFC West is theirs to lose.
No. 12: Brock Purdy - San Francisco 49ers
Purdy returned with a vengeance in Week 11. Purdy tossed three touchdown passes, and he looked like his former self. Arizona is not exactly a tough defense, but this was an auspicious start for a quarterback who stumbled out of the gates earlier this season.

No. 11: Daniel Jones - Indianapolis Colts
Jones enjoyed a bye in Week 11. The Colts are now entering a tough stretch of the season. These next few weeks will provide a glimpse into what Jones is truly made of. The cupcake matchups are behind Jones and Indianapolis.
No. 10: Baker Mayfield - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Mayfield and the Buccaneers dropped another game in Week 11. Mayfield continues to play his heart out for this team. He is diving for exciting first downs and making tough throws from the pocket. Still, the Buccaneers find themselves in a position to lose the NFC South lead if they are not careful.
No. 9: Sam Darnold - Seattle Seahawks
Four interceptions against the Rams is not what any Seahawks fan wanted to see in Week 11. Darnold truly looked like he was seeing ghosts this past week. He should bounce back, but he needs to find a way to start succeeding in these bigger games.

No. 8: Dak Prescott - Dallas Cowboys
Prescott tossed four touchdown passes in primetime in Week 11. The Cowboys look like they are trying to put themselves back on the map as a true contender. Prescott gives them a chance to do just that. He is playing lights out this season.
No. 7: Jared Goff - Detroit Lions
Goff's track record outdoors remains poor. He was stymied in Philadelphia on Sunday night. The Lions are not trending towards the No. 1 seed in the NFC this season. As such, Goff needs to exorcise his outdoor demons.
No. 6: Drake Maye - New England Patriots
Maye continues to dominate this season. Although he only threw one touchdown in Week 11, Maye played excellent football and led the Patriots to yet another victory. He is rightfully near the top of the MVP race.
No. 5: Jalen Hurts - Philadelphia Eagles
Hurts continues to do just enough for the Eagles to win games against quality opponents. The offense could still be better, but Hurts and the Eagles never feel out of control in any given week. They know how to win. Most importantly, they know how to win their way.
No. 4: Patrick Mahomes - Kansas City Chiefs
Mahomes and the Chiefs are slipping. The team finds itself in the middle of the NFL power rankings. Mahomes himself remains one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, but he is having difficulty elevating this team in 2025.
No. 3: Lamar Jackson - Baltimore Ravens
Jackson and the Ravens continue to ascend after their terrible start to the season. Jackson is not quite back to MVP form, but he has still been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL when healthy this season. Look for Jackson to explode at any moment.
No. 2: Matthew Stafford - Los Angeles Rams
Stafford held down the fort for the Rams in Week 11 against the Seahawks. The leading MVP candidate now has his team atop the NFC West with sights set on the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC. Stafford cannot stop throwing touchdowns. As long as that is the case, he will vie for the MVP title.

No. 1: Josh Allen - Buffalo Bills
Allen's three rushing touchdowns and three passing touchdowns on Sunday were a massive feat. The man cannot be stopped. Although he has been inconsistent this season, he has continued to demonstrate that he can take the Bills to the promised land when he is at his best.
