NBA DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers – FantasyScore Advice for 12/3

http://basketball.wikia.com/

Editor’s Note: RotoBaller is proud to be partnering with FantasyScore, our new and exclusive DFS partner. As a subsidiary of the USA TODAY Sports Media Group, FantasyScore has come to the daily league fantasy sports table with possibly the most exciting promotional offer in the DFS industry (along with a top notch product that is powered by one of the biggest media sites in the world).fantasyscore-advertorial

For RotoBaller readers, FantasyScore is offering an instant 50% deposit bonus up to $250. No other DFS site offers an instant match bonus like this!

Other sites claim to provide users with matching dollars on their initial deposits. What they forget to mention is this is not an instant match, and you have to earn those “matched dollars” slowly over time, penny by penny. This can be misleading, and discouraging to new depositors.

FantasyScore does not do this. They really, truly match your deposit, instantly. When you make your first deposit, you immediately get half of that amount, and you can immediately use it to play. No waiting, no earning it slowly, no gimmicks – just a really good offer, that no other DFS service is matching.

NBA DFS Picks for December 3rd, 2014

All throughout the 2014-15 campaign, RotoBaller will be giving you the top NBA DFS lineup picks at the guard, forward and center positions as well as a couple of sleepers for the day. Below are our favorite picks for December 3rd, 2014.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

Worth the Investment

John Wall (WAS, G) - $8,200

By Keith Allison (John Wall Josh Smith.jpg) [CC-BY-SA-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia CommonsOver his last seven home games, Wall has posted 48.75, 29.75, 45.75, 52, 41.5, 36.75 and 54.75 fantasy points. Those numbers alone suggest he is a virtual must-play Wednesday night. A match-up against a Lakers team that gives up a league worst 112 points a night it makes the decision even easier.

Sometimes picks just make themselves, and that is the case with Wall tonight. If you do not play him, things are not likely to work out very well.

Zach Randolph (MEM, F) - $6,000

Despite putting up 36 points, 25 rebounds, five assists and five steals over his past two games, Randolph’s price tag has stuck at the $6,000 mark. At only 12 percent of your cap, that is a bargain for a double-double machine racking up 16.3 points and 11.7 rebounds per game thus far.

The Grizzlies put the top record in the league on the line tonight against a Rockets team that is still missing Dwight Howard and Terrence Jones up front. That means not only Randolph, but also Marc Gasol, should have their way in the paint.

DeAndre Jordan (LAC, C) - $6,300

This could be the contrarian play of the night, as players who average 8.2 points per game, such as Jordan, generally do not make for great daily fantasy plays. However, the Clippers' big man has as much upside as any center.

Jordan certainly is not a point scorer, putting up just one double-figure scoring effort over the last five games. However, he does have 11+ rebounds to go along with a superb 13 total blocks in those five games. Jordan has been over 28 fantasy points in each of the previous three contests, and he should easily eclipse that total again tonight.

Best Value Plays

Mo Williams (MIN, G) - $2,900

When Ricky Rubio got hurt a few weeks ago, the door swung wide open for Mo Williams to take over at the point for Minnesota. The veteran guard has certainly taken advantage of the increased playing time, as he has produced 22+ fantasy points in each of the past seven games.

Rookie Zach LaVine has not been able to produce consistently for the Timberwolves, which means Williams sees upwards of 30 minutes each night. The Bulls are not a great match-up defensively, but Williams still has a great shot to hit 10X value, making him a great value option.

Tony Allen (MEM, G) - $3,000

Another contrarian play that most people will not utilize due to low scoring totals, Allen should make for a sneaky play. At only six percent of your salary cap, the defensive wiz needs only 15 fantasy points to hit 5X value, which he has done in three of his last four games. Over that span, Allen is averaging 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per night.

Memphis will need to make an effort at containing James Harden, so Allen should receive plenty of minutes. He does not have the upside of other players, but Allen is a steady option with a friendly price tag.
