NFL QB Power Rankings: All 32 Starting Quarterbacks for Week 7 Football (2025)

Baker Mayfield - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers

Quincy's NFL QB power rankings for Week 7 of the 2025 season. He ranks all 32 starting NFL quarterbacks before Week 7, from Patrick Mahomes to Cameron Ward.

Another week brings another round of NFL quarterback play. Now that we are approaching the halfway point of the season, NFL quarterbacks are stepping up their game with the preseason jitters wearing off. We are starting to see the quarterback landscape come to life, which is always a joy.

Frankly, NFL fans are enjoying a solid season of quarterback play. While Titans rookie Cameron Ward has not played well and Jets quarterback Justin Fields is struggling, the quarterback landscape around the league has been relatively enjoyable to watch. Good quarterback play always makes the NFL better.

Perhaps with the inevitable midseason coaching changes approaching, players like Ward will improve with a better voice in his ears. Still, it has been a joy to watch MVP candidates such as Baker Mayfield and Patrick Mahomes ball out recently. As such, let's see where each quarterback stands in the power rankings heading into Week 7.

Editor's Note: Stay on top of your draft prep with RotoBaller’s fantasy football rankings, featuring expert analysis, ADPs, and draft insights for both PPR and non-PPR leagues.

No. 32: Cameron Ward - Tennessee Titans

Cameron Ward endured another tough outing in Week 6. He had a great matchup on paper with a struggling Raiders defense, but he could not capitalize. Ward continues to receive little help from his supporting cast.

No. 31: Justin Fields - New York Jets

Justin Fields has had many struggles as the Jets' starting quarterback, but Week 6 may have brought a new low. Until now, Fields had been able to pad his stats in garbage time, but he was held to just 76 total yards by the Broncos in Week 6.

No. 30: Dillon Gabriel - Cleveland Browns

Dillon Gabriel looked solid in his first start in Week 5, but he was pretty much neutralized in Week 6 against the Steelers. Gabriel likely has a long leash, but if he does not pick up his play, the Browns may have to turn to Shedeur Sanders.

No. 29: Joe Flacco - Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Flacco did not fare much better in place of Jake Browning in Week 6. Flacco is less mobile than Browning, and he looked relatively inept behind a terrible Cincinnati offensive line.

No. 28: Spencer Rattler - New Orleans Saints

Spencer Rattler played another relatively efficient game in Week 6, but he failed to throw a touchdown. Still, Rattler continues to play solid ball with the Saints this season. It may not be translating to wins, but it is encouraging for Rattler's career trajectory.

No. 27: Geno Smith - Las Vegas Raiders

Geno Smith looked better, but not great, in an easy matchup against the Titans in Week 6. At least he did not throw three interceptions again.

No. 26: J.J. McCarthy - Minnesota Vikings

J.J. McCarthy is back at practice for the Vikings. It is not yet clear whether he will start in Week 7, but his return seems imminent. Hopefully, his time away from the field allowed him to reset and take a step forward as a quarterback.

No. 25: Jaxson Dart - New York Giants

Jaxson Dart has looked every bit the part of a first-round quarterback through three starts. Dart has led the Giants to wins over the Chargers and Eagles over the last three weeks. Most of all, he has provided hope to otherwise hopeless Giants fans.

No. 24: Tua Tagovailoa - Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagavailoa has an interception issue this season. His three picks on Sunday led to serious problems for Miami. Tagovailoa was able to lead the Dolphins on a late go-ahead touchdown drive, only to watch the Chargers march down the field and kick a game-winning field goal.

No. 23: Bryce Young - Carolina Panthers

Bryce Young is starting to find his form again. After stumbling out of the gates of this season, Young has now led the Panthers to a 3-3 season. He is beginning to find consistency after a stretch of inconsistent games.

No. 22: Kyler Murray - Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray did not play in Week 6. Unfortunately, the Cardinals lost the game. However, the offense looked solid with Jacoby Brissett under center. Murray is objectively better, but this game was proof that the Cardinals' ceiling is tapped with Murray at the helm.

No. 21: Michael Penix Jr. - Atlanta Falcons

Michael Penix Jr. did what was necessary to secure a win for the Falcons in Week 6 against the Bills. Penix did not play a perfect game, but he made plays within the system that allowed the Falcons to salt away the victory. The arrow is pointing up for Penix and the Falcons' offense.

No. 20: Caleb Williams - Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams and co. got the better of Jayden Daniels and the Commanders on Monday night. Williams was inconsistent once again, but he continues to display growth that is encouraging for both his future and the Bears'.

No. 19: Brock Purdy - San Francisco 49ers

Brock Purdy sounds like he will be back in Week 7. Mac Jones played solid football in his stead, but he faltered in Week 6 against the Buccaneers. With a lot of the infrastructure loosening around him, Purdy will have his work cut out for him upon his return.

No. 18: C.J. Stroud - Houston Texans

C.J. Stroud enjoyed a bye in Week 6. Prior to the bye, Stroud had tossed six touchdowns in two games. He will look to continue that momentum in Week 7.

No. 17: Trevor Lawrence - Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence played a solid game on Sunday against the Seahawks, but his efforts did not translate into many points. The Jaguars were only able to score 13 points with the Seattle defense buckling down.

No. 16: Aaron Rodgers - Pittsburgh Steelers

Aaron Rodgers continues to enjoy his 21st season. He is playing well, and the Steelers find themselves at 4-1. Rodgers has done well to stabilize this offense and lead the Steelers to potentially new heights.

No. 15: Lamar Jackson - Baltimore Ravens

With Lamar Jackson likely to take back over the Ravens' starting quarterback position following Baltimore's Week 7 bye, let's throw him back into the power rankings. The Ravens desperately need Jackson to help save their season. Due to his injury and the Ravens' current status, Jackson will begin the week much lower in the power rankings than usual.

No. 14: Bo Nix - Denver Broncos

Bo Nix and the Broncos struggled to a hard-fought victory over the Jets in Week 6. After Nix appeared to get his mojo back, this performance was not exactly encouraging. Still, the Broncos are tied with the Chargers for the lead in the AFC West.

No. 13: Jordan Love - Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love stumbled a bit in Week 6, even against a terrible Bengals' defense. However, the Packers still came away with a victory by riding the running game. If Love can find his consistency, this team could be truly special this season.

No. 12: Drake Maye - New England Patriots

Drake Maye is a stud. He was slinging the ball downfield all day against the Saints. He now has the Patriots sitting at 4-2 with a real chance to make a serious playoff push.

No. 11: Jalen Hurts - Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles fell on their face again in Week 6. The Giants utterly dominated this team for most of the game. The Eagles' passing offense is pretty horrendous right now, and Hurts can only do so much with his legs.

No. 10: Justin Herbert - Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert played Superman in Week 6 en route to leading a game-winning drive against the Dolphins. He is struggling to consistently produce at a high level behind a weakened offensive line, but he is still extremely talented, and the Chargers will go as far as Herbert will take them.

No. 9: Daniel Jones - Indianapolis Colts

Daniel Jones and the Colts lit up the scoreboard once again in Week 6. With a favorable schedule ahead, look for Darnold to continue playing at a high level in his year of reclamation.

No. 8: Sam Darnold - Seattle Seahawks

Sam Darnold and the Seahawks got back on track in Week 6 after a heartbreaking loss to the Buccaneers in Week 5. Darnold's connection with wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is special, and it led to Seattle taking care of business with relative ease in Jacksonville on Sunday.

No. 7: Matthew Stafford - Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford continues to get it done as an aging quarterback. He was not at his absolute best in Week 6 with wide receiver Puka Nacua sidelined for much of the game, but he still did enough to lead the Rams to victory over a middling Ravens team.

No. 6: Jayden Daniels - Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels played relatively lights out on Monday night against the Bears. Unfortunately, a late errant snap and fumble were enough to allow the Bears to get into field goal range and steal the game.

No. 5: Dak Prescott - Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott was unable to do enough for the Cowboys to take a victory against the Panthers on Sunday. The Cowboys' defense continues to let Prescott down. He is on pace to have a season akin to Joe Burrow's 2024 season, with no glory due to a terrible defense.

No. 4: Jared Goff - Detroit Lions

Jared Goff is slipping in the power rankings after a tough showing against the Chiefs in Week 6. No matter, Goff has a great chance to "get right" in Week 7 against a Buccaneers pass defense that has been relatively leaky.

No. 3: Josh Allen - Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen has given up his reign as the No. 1 quarterback in the power rankings after two straight rough outings. The Bills have now recorded two straight losses, and they are in search of answers as they head into their bye.

No. 2: Baker Mayfield - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield is the current NFL MVP, and nobody can say otherwise. This guy is simply willing the Buccaneers to victory every week. Somehow, he is continuing to do so with a ragtag team of weapons around him.

No. 1: Patrick Mahomes - Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes just led the Chiefs to a dominant win over the surging Lions. The Chiefs are back after being written off due to a 0-2 start. Look for Mahomes to continue playing at a high level.
