DeAndre Hopkins Signing With The Titans
1 year agoAccording to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, free agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins agreed to a deal with the Titans on Sunday. The contract is for two years and worth at least $26 million, although the Pro-Bowler could earn up to $32 million with incentives. After the Cardinals released Hopkins in May, the Titans emerged as a favorite to sign him, with several teams, including the Bills, Patriots, and Chiefs, also reportedly expressing interest. However, the wait is finally over, so fantasy managers can start planning accordingly. The 2013 No. 27 overall pick appeared in nine games in Arizona last season, accumulating 64 catches for 717 yards and three touchdowns. While he probably has a few more productive years on the horizon, the Titans' quarterback situation may lower his ceiling. But Hopkins should remain a quality wideout, even though his presence will likely decrease Treylon Burks' fantasy appeal heading into the 2023-24 campaign.
