DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (4/26/19): MLB DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on April 26th, 2019. Tom Vecchio's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have a full 15-game slate on tap tonight, meaning every team and every player is available. No Coors Field on this slate, so we should see ownership spread out, making plenty of teams great for GPPs.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/26/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Madison Bumgarner - P, SFG vs NYY (DK - $8,700)

Bumgarner is up against a depleted Yankees' roster who have an implied run total set at only 3.92 tonight since they have a massive negative park shift against them. Bumgarner has seven strikeouts in each of his last two starts but has allowed four or more earned runs in two of his last three starts. The fantasy points are sitting there for him with those strikeouts, but he needs to keep himself out of danger and limit the scoring and pay off his very affordable salary tonight.

Max Fried - P, ATL vs COL (DK - $7,700)

Fried looked like a near ace in his start on Sunday night, posting six strikeouts in six innings, while only allowing two earned runs. That was the third time in his last four starts that he broke the 20 DK point threshold, yet is still under $8K somehow. Tonight, he is up against the Rockies, who have a 24.% strikeout rate versus left-handed pitchers and will be dealing with a negative park shift against them.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Pedro Severino - C, BAL @ MIN (DK - $3,700)

As with many DFS players, you might be looking to spend down at catcher and take the savings, which should put Severino at the top of your list. He is up against Martin Perez, who is allowing a .353 wOBA, 32% fly ball rate, and a 34% hard contact rate to right-handed hitters this season.

Paul Goldschmidt - 1B, STL vs CIN (DK - $5,100)

Goldy is showing some major reverse splits this season as he has a .434 wOBA and a .353 ISO versus right-handed pitchers so far. That should actually play right into his hands or bat since he is up against Anthony DeSclafani, who is allowing 2.03 HR/9 and a 37% fly ball rate to righties this season.

Dee Gordon - 2B, SEA vs TEX (DK - $4,100)

A couple of things are true about Gordon, he hits near the bottom of the lineup for the Mariners, he has almost no power, but has a great stolen base upside. If he gets on base, the points can come via the stolen base or runs, since the hitters after him should be able to jump on Shelby Miller who is allowing a 53% hard contact rate this season.

Marwin Gonzalez - 3B, MIN vs BAL (DK - $3,300)

Gonzalez is a cheaper option tonight and with the Twins having an implied run total set at 5.56, which is the highest on the slate, you want some exposure to them. He is up against Alex Cobb, who allowed a .330 wOBA and 1.15 HR/9 to left-handed hitters last season.

Eric Sogard - SS, TOR vs OAK (DK - $3,800)

Sogard only recently joined the Blue Jays, seven games to be exact, and has a hit in each game. Yes, a seven-game hitting streak in tow tonight is in a spot to continue versus Mike Fiers who is allowing a .416 wOBA and 1.69 HR/9 to left-handed hitters this season.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Joc Pederson - OF, LAD vs PIT (DK - $4,900)

Joc Jams is up against Chris Archer which has the Dodgers coming in with a strong 4.32 implied run total tonight. Archer is allowing a 38% hard contact rate this season, which is nothing new for him, thus leading to allowing 1.54 HR/9 to lefties. Archer does carry a 33% strikeout rate vs LHH, but that is due for some regression.

Kevin Kiermaier - OF, TB @ BOS (DK - $4,300)

Kiermaier has eight hits in his last 10 games, but only has two RBIs in that time. The hits are nice, but the upside is a bit limited in that stretch, which is due for a change tonight. The Rays are getting a massive positive park shift being in Boston and up against what should be an opener for the Sox Marcus Walden and ultimately, lead to their bullpen who is allowing 1.57 HR/9 and 4.99 ERA.
