Recent Update

7/16:Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Alex Cobb went 7 2/3 innings Saturday versus Anaheim, allowing a single run. He even struck out nine during the game while earning his eighth win of the season. Cobb also dropped his ERA 16 points to 3.59. Cobb is a strong add for this season if he remains available. In dynasty formats, he is an even stronger asset, as he is a top talent who quite likely will return to that status. His next scheduled outing is against a Texas team who will be starting their ace in Yu Darvish.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller

  • @RogerMooney50: @BuckAv I'm pretty sure Cobb's psyche will be just fine. He doesn't need anyone protecting him
  • @RogerMooney50: #Rays Cash said he let Cobb pitch the 9th because Rangers hard contact went away after 3rd and he liked way Cobb competed
  • @RogerMooney50: #Rays Cobb took all the blame. "I feel like I should be able to do a better job of making (Cash) look like he made the right decision there.
  • @TBTimes_Rays: #Rays Cobb says it's unfair to blame Cash, that he should have pitched better in 9th
