Zay Flowers 2023 Outlook: Wide Range Of Outcomes In Crowded Pass-Catching Group
1 year agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers was a perfect addition to a much-improved pass-catching group for Lamar Jackson, but it's tough to project what his 2023 output will look like. It's unknown whether Lamar Jackson will truly excel in a pass-happy offense, if Odell Beckham Jr. has anything left in the tank, and if Rashod Bateman can stay healthy and break out in 2023. Mark Andrews is undoubtedly an elite tight end, but all three of the Ravens' top-three wideouts have plenty of question marks. Any one of the trio of wideouts could emerge as Jackson's No. 1 option in the passing game -- or simply be a role player with minimal fantasy value. All that said, Flowers' ADP sits around the WR52 spot in half-PPR formats, and rookie wideouts are often great values at cost. Flowers has immediate fantasy intrigue and it's smart to have some exposure to his profile in 2023, but going all in on him could be a mistake.
