Sterling Shepard 2020 Outlook: Health A Priority
5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard finished 2019 with 57 catches for 576 yards and three touchdowns, which were some of the lowest marks of his career. Appearing in only 10 games last season due to concussion, the fifth-year man out of Oklahoma will need to stay healthy in order for fantasy owners to reap the full benefits of his talent. With Eli Manning gone after a legendary career with the organization, sophomore quarterback Daniel Jones will likely remain the No. 1 signal-caller for the entire season, giving the Giants receiving corps some much need stability. An enhanced offensive line will also help, which could open the door for Shepard to potentially replicate the numbers of his rookie campaign back in 2016. As long as he can remain healthy, he may finish the year as the most productive wideout on the team in 2020.
