Rashaad Penny 2020 Outlook: Will He Be Healthy?
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny was on his way to having the best season of his young career in 2019. In 10 games, Penny ran for 370 yards and three touchdowns off of 65 attempts and served as a suitable backup for Chris Carson. However, his season became derailed in early December when he suffered a torn ACL against the Los Angeles Rams, an injury that required surgery and ended his year prematurely. Heading into 2020, the 24-year-old will likely begin the year on the PUP list, and, with Chris Carson seemingly healthy after dealing with a hip ailment, Penny has relatively little fantasy value. If he does manage to return sometime down the line, Travis Homer and the newly drafted DeeJay Dallas will be looking to maintain a firm grasp on whatever role they assume during the season.
