NFL Power Rankings: Where Do All 32 Teams Stand Ahead of Week 16?

C.J. Stroud - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Quincy's NFL power rankings for all 32 teams heading into Week 16 of 2025. Where does each NFL team stand in our latest power rankings for the 2025 season?

With the Chiefs eliminated from playoff contention, the AFC will have a new champion for the first time since 2021. Week 15 featured a seismic shift in power across the NFL. Many of the teams we have become accustomed to seeing deep in the playoffs are either done altogether or on the outside looking in.

Unfortunately, Week 15 also featured a couple of catastrophic injuries in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes and Micah Parsons both went down with torn ACLs. You hate to see these types of injuries to the league’s biggest stars. The injuries paint a bleak future picture for both the Chiefs and the Packers.

On the bright side, Week 15 treated us to a plethora of one-score games. These last three weeks of the NFL season are shaping up to be quite exciting. Let’s dive in and see where every team stands as we head into Week 16.

No. 32: Las Vegas Raiders

What a loss for the Raiders this week. Las Vegas drew a matchup with a top Eagles team and was promptly shut out. It would not be surprising to see some staff changes this week. This season has gone horribly wrong for the Raiders.

No. 31: New York Jets

The Jets were run over by the Jaguars in Week 15. The franchise seems directionless, and there does not seem to be much talent available for development. Apologies to all Jets fans.

No. 30: Cleveland Browns

The Browns were riding high after a big offensive performance in Week 14. Unfortunately, there was no encore. The Browns were completely shut down by the Bears' defense this week. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders tossed three interceptions in the first truly poor performance of his career.

No. 29: Tennessee Titans

Despite a loss to the 49ers in Week 15, the Titans played a respectable game. They put up 24 points and challenged San Francisco's defense. This team is finally starting to display improvements. That bodes well for the offseason.

No. 28: Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals lost once again in Week 15. This time, the loss happened in terrible fashion with a blowout to the Texans. Changes to this team's coaching staff could be on the way because it is difficult to simply continue to lose like this.

No. 27: New York Giants

The Giants dropped another game in Week 15. Quarterback Jaxson Dart continues to provide positivity for the future, but the wins are not following his performances. Still, Giants fans should look forward to a potentially quick rebuild with the players that are in place.

No. 26: Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons stole a massive game against the Buccaneers in Week 15. Although Atlanta is no longer in the playoff race, it got to play spoiler against a division rival. Quarterback Kirk Cousins also played quite well.

No. 25: Washington Commanders

The Commanders were finally able to notch a win after conquering the Giants in Week 15. Washington's defense stepped up in a big way and held the Giants to 21 points. It was a must-needed victory for a reeling team.

No. 24: New Orleans Saints

The Saints played spoiler once again in Week 15 by beating the Panthers at the buzzer. New Orleans has now stymied both the Panthers and Buccaneers' chances for the division title. This team continues to improve as the season wears on.

No. 23: Cincinnati Bengals

Whatever the Bengals' performance was in Week 15 was not like this team. Cincinnati laid an egg in a must-have game against the Ravens. The playoff hopes have faded, and the Bengals are left with question marks.

No. 22: Miami Dolphins

And with that, the Dolphins are eliminated from playoff contention. Miami may have been able to surge in recent weeks. However, this team has not figured out a way to win in the cold over the past few years.

No. 21: Minnesota Vikings

What a performance from quarterback J.J. McCarthy in Week 15. The second-year quarterback seems to be finding himself. Just as Aaron Rodgers once said: R.E.L.A.X. McCarthy will be just fine as he continues to develop.

No. 20: Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs have already been eliminated from playoff contention. Additionally, they have lost quarterback Mahomes to a torn ACL. An injury like that this late in the season has ramifications for the 2026 season. Mahomes could be an entire year away from returning at full strength.

No. 19: Indianapolis Colts

The Colts nearly won in Seattle on the leg of Blake Grupe in Week 15. Unfortunately, the defense was unable to hold Seattle from kicking a game-winning field goal of its own. Quarterback Philip Rivers' return to the lineup was exciting, but relatively unproductive.

No. 18: Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys have effectively eliminated themselves from playoff contention with a loss to the Vikings in Week 15. Midseason defensive adjustments were not enough to propel this team forward.

No. 17: Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens got back on track in Week 15 with a huge win over the Bengals. Baltimore has kept its divisional hopes alive and has a lot of control over its destiny over these last three weeks of the season.

No. 16: Carolina Panthers

The Panthers had a golden opportunity to take firm control of the NFC South in Week 15. The team completely squandered that chance with a loss to the Saints. Carolina and Tampa Bay will now battle for the NFC South title over the final three weeks of the season.

No. 15: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers fell on Thursday night to the Falcons. The loss temporarily put Tampa Bay at the No. 2 spot in the division. Fortunately for them, the Panthers also lost, putting this division in a tie once again.

No. 14: Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers remain in control of the AFC North following a commanding win over the Dolphins in Week 15. If they can continue to win, Pittsburgh will enter the playoffs in a very good position. The Steelers are also one win away from extending their streak without a losing season.

No. 13: Detroit Lions

The Lions find themselves on the outside of the playoff hunt as we head into Week 16. This team simply continues to lose big games. They need help if they want to make a run in the NFC. With the way the rest of the teams are playing, help may not be on the way for Detroit.

No. 12: Houston Texans

The Texans won big in Week 15. This team is now in firm control of making the playoffs and continues to remain in the hunt for a third-straight divisional title. What a turnaround Houston has experienced in 2025.

No. 11: Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles got a big boost from a 31-0 win over the Raiders in Week 15. The win was exactly what this team needed to find its confidence once again. It was not a magic button to fix everything, but Philadelphia has placed itself in a great position to repeat as the NFC East champions.

No. 10: Green Bay Packers

The Packers dropped another game in Week 15, which pushed them down to No. 7 in playoff seeding. To make matters worse, the Packers lost standout defensive end Parsons to a torn ACL. Parsons was supposed to be the player who could propel the Packers to a Super Bowl.

No. 9: Chicago Bears

The Bears won big in Week 15, and they now find themselves in firm control of the NFC North. The doubters are still out there, but the truth is, Chicago has a realistic chance to win this division in Year 1 of the Ben Johnson era.

No. 8: San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers continue to win as their easy schedule allows. They will face a couple of tough tests against Chicago and Seattle in Week 17 and Week 18, but San Francisco is looking like a potentially legitimate contender once again in 2025.

No. 7: Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers were able to eliminate the Chiefs from playoff contention in Week 15. The win also kept the Chargers in lock step with the Broncos for a divisional title. With another Broncos versus Chargers matchup on the schedule, look for the AFC West to come down to the final week of the season.

No. 6: Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars are no longer winning by the skin of their teeth; they are dominating. Despite playing easier competition of late, the Jaguars are displaying that they have what it takes to truly control a game. Jacksonville could be dangerous in the AFC.

No. 5: Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks won by the skin of their teeth in Week 15. It took a last-second, game-winning field goal for this team to beat the Rivers-led Colts. The offense is not clicking right now. They will not be able to win games in this manner down the stretch of the season.

No. 4: Buffalo Bills

The Bills had a massive comeback victory over the Patriots in Week 15. The win keeps Buffalo alive for an AFC East title. There is a lot for the Bills to clean up, but coming back from a 21-0 deficit bodes well for this team.

No. 3: New England Patriots

The Patriots suffered a significant loss to the Bills in Week 15. After dominating the first half, New England fell apart in the second half. This was a monumental loss because it means that the division could slip away from the Patriots if they are not careful.

No. 2: Denver Broncos

The Broncos finally beat a quality opponent when they took down the Packers in Week 15. Denver had been relying on one-score wins over bad teams. This win was a statement that the Broncos may be a legitimate force to be reckoned with.

No. 1: Los Angeles Rams

The Rams held onto the No. 1 spot in the NFC with a win over Detroit in Week 15. Matthew Stafford continued an MVP campaign. With a matchup against Seattle next week, the Rams can all but lock up the division and the conference.
