Cooper Kupp Off the Fantasy Radar Against his Old Team on Sunday
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp (hamstring, wrist) looks like he will play on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Kupp was a question mark entering this week, but he did enough during practice to receive the go-ahead.. Unfortunately, Kupp should be overlooked as a fantasy option. The volume simply is not there for the veteran. To make matters worse, the Rams are one of the better defenses in the NFL. This does not project to necessarily be a high-volume passing game between two teams with stellar defenses. Kupp has exceeded three targets on just three occasions this season. With the addition of wide receiver Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline, Kupp figures to cede more volume in this offense. Seattle may give Kupp chances to prove to his old team that he still has what it takes in this league, but do not bank on that narrative. You are better off with Kupp on your bench this week.
