Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams (shoulder) is dealing with a minor shoulder injury in training camp, according to Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com. Head coach Dan Campbell said it is nothing serious. Expect the Lions to play it safe with Williams, who is a big part of their passing game. The 25-year-old former 12th overall pick in 2022 from Ohio State had his second straight 1,000-yard season in 2025 and the second year in a row with seven touchdown receptions. Williams had a career-high 1,117 yards on a career-high 65 receptions (102 targets) in 17 games played. It is unclear if the Lions will feel safe running Williams out there with the starters for this Saturday's preseason tilt against the Washington Commanders, but his shoulder injury shouldn't impact his availability for the Week 1 regular-season opener in early September. A healthy tight end Sam LaPorta and a bigger role for second-year wideout Isaac TeSlaa are looming obstacles to Williams potentially coming up short of expectations in 2026. Target him as a low-end WR2/high-end WR3/flex with boom/bust big-play abilities at the receiver position.--Keith Hernandez

Seattle Seahawks rookie first-round running back Jadarian Price (lower body) was back at training camp practice on Monday and took most of the reps, according to Seahawks reporter Brian Nemhauser. It was a non-contact session for the Seahawks on Monday, but it is still progress for the 22-year-old, who should be fully ready for the start of the 2026 regular season in early September. After being rested in the preseason opener on Saturday against the Dallas Cowboys, Price could be cleared to get some work this Sunday in the second preseason contest against the Tennessee Titans. Zach Charbonnet (knee) is not going to be ready for the start of the regular season, which puts Price in position to be a key contributor in Seattle's backfield right away. George Holani will also have a role, but Price's explosiveness and big-play ability should make him the more attractive short- and long-term fantasy option at the RB position. It might be tough for Price to carve out a big pass-catching role, but with enough early down work, he should be a nice low-end RB2/high-end RB3/flex target in upcoming fantasy drafts.--Keith Hernandez

New Orleans Saints rookie first-round wide receiver Jordyn Tyson (hamstring), who has been a standout performer during training camp, is expected to be out roughly two months with a hamstring injury, according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo. Tyson, who has been consulting with experts, could start his first NFL season on the short-term Injured Reserve, which would require him to miss at least the first four games. The 22-year-old eighth overall pick back in April from Arizona State was in line to open his NFL career as the WR2 in New Orleans across from Chris Olave, but that will now have to wait. Tyson also missed time in college with issues with the same hamstring, so fantasy managers in dynasty/keeper leagues who have him rostered have to be a little worried about his long-term durability already. He will still be worth rostering in redraft leagues in 2026, but he will now be more of a late-round stash target. Receiver Devaughn Vele and tight end Juwan Johnson might end up being the biggest beneficiaries early on, as well as rookie Barion Brown, who has been a standout this summer.--Keith Hernandez

Chicago Bears running back Kyle Monangai (knee) suffered a hyperextended knee during training camp practice on Sunday and is expected to miss multiple weeks, a source told Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. However, the MRI outcome is considered positive, and the 24-year-old's knee is structurally sound. Monangai will most likely miss the team's final two preseason games as he tries to rehab and get ready to play in the Week 1 regular-season opener on Sunday, Sept. 13, against the Carolina Panthers. With Monangai sidelined for the next couple of weeks, Roschon Johnson, Salvon Ahmed, and Brittain Brown will get more opportunities to play behind starter D'Andre Swift in Chicago's backfield. After being selected in the seventh round from Rutgers in 2025, Monangai had 169 rushing attempts for 783 yards and five touchdowns in 17 games in his first NFL season, adding 18 receptions for 164 yards as a pass-catcher. He is still the handcuff option to Swift, but his lack of pass-catching upside makes him a better RB3/flex target in standard-scoring fantasy leagues in 2026.--Keith Hernandez

The follow-up on New York Jets running back Breece Hall's groin injury on Monday confirmed that it is a minor injury, a source told Connor Hughes of SNY. The Jets will continue to be cautious with their starting RB, but he will be out for weeks, not months. Head coach Aaron Glenn announced on Monday that Hall suffered a groin strain during training camp practice on a non-contact play. The 25-year-old will most likely sit out the team's final two preseason games before having a chance to be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 regular season in early September. Isaiah Davis (knee) has also been nursing an injury, so New York's backfield is pretty banged up right now, which will give Braelon Allen a big opportunity to make noise and secure a bigger role to begin the season. When fully healthy, Hall will continue to be the Jets' RB1 in a new offense led by veteran QB Geno Smith and offensive coordinator Frank Reich. Hall could still be ready and 100% for Week 1, but his groin injury will have fantasy managers thinking twice about whether to pull the trigger on him as a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 in the early rounds of upcoming drafts.--Keith Hernandez

New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh said on Monday that wide receiver Malik Nabers (knee) "looked good" in his return to team drills in training camp practice but also said that he does not think "he's at full speed yet," according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN. We were not expecting Nabers to be full speed in his first 11-on-11 drills in camp, but he continues to make good progress after tearing the ACL and meniscus in his right knee in Week 4 of last year. The 24-year-old former first-rounder (sixth overall) from LSU is expected to be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 regular season, barring a setback as he ramps up his work this summer. Do not be surprised if Nabers does not see any preseason action at all, with the Giants' primary goal being to have him available when the regular season kicks off. There is still plenty of risk with a WR coming off a major knee injury, but Nabers' progress of late has been encouraging and makes him more worth the risk as a low-end WR1 early in fantasy drafts.--Keith Hernandez

Arizona Cardinals running back Trey Benson (knee) was back at training camp practice on Monday, according to Tyler Drake of Arizona Sports. Benson's surgically repaired left knee flared up several weeks ago, and the Cardinals have been playing it safe with him after he played in only four games in 2025 in his second year in the league. The 24-year-old former third-rounder from Florida State figures to be Arizona's RB4 to begin the 2026 regular season as long as all of rookie Jeremiyah Love (ankle), Tyler Allgeier, and James Conner (foot) are fully healthy. Benson did not play in last Thursday's preseason contest against the Las Vegas Raiders, but he could get some run this Saturday against the Dallas Cowboys if both Love and Conner are unavailable. He has an opportunity to make some noise this week with both Love and Conner nursing injuries, but Benson will still be off the fantasy radar in most single-year leagues in 2026.--Keith Hernandez

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard (foot) missed practice again Monday, his second straight absence after sitting out Saturday. Head coach Robert Saleh said over the weekend that Pollard was dealing with a sore foot and hoped to have him back Monday, but Pollard remained sidelined. He had played Thursday against San Francisco, running four times for 22 yards and scoring from five yards out on Tennessee's opening drive. Pollard started all 17 games last season and ran for a career-high 1,082 yards on 242 carries. Tennessee was thin at running back Monday, too, with Nick Singleton and Kalel Mullings also out. Pollard is still listed ahead of Tyjae Spears on the Titans' unofficial depth chart, and Saleh described the recent injuries as minor aches and bruises. There isn't much reason for fantasy managers to move Pollard down yet. If he's still out later in the week, though, the foot becomes a little harder to shrug off.--Bruno Mulé

Los Angeles Rams defensive end Myles Garrett (knee) remains on a cautious practice plan as the team manages swelling in his knee. Garrett sat out Monday, and head coach Sean McVay said he may not practice at all this week, according to Greg Beacham. This has been an ongoing issue rather than a new setback. Garrett missed time earlier in camp, returned, then was held out of last week's joint practice with Dallas after the swelling resurfaced. McVay said at the time that Garrett felt about 85% and stressed there was nothing to be concerned about. The Rams only practice Tuesday and Thursday for the rest of this week, and McVay sees little reason to push the reigning Defensive Player of the Year through August work. Garrett joined Los Angeles in a blockbuster June trade after setting an NFL single-season record with 23 sacks for Cleveland in 2025. The Rams appear content to manage the knee until Garrett feels fully ready.--Bruno Mulé

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (groin) could miss the rest of this week's practices as the team continues to play it safe with him. Head coach Sean McVay said Monday that Nacua might not practice at all this week, according to Greg Beacham. The Rams only have sessions scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday after Nacua sat out Monday. That is a change from McVay's comments last Thursday, when he said he expected Nacua back this week "ready to go." Nacua has been sidelined since leaving the August 11 joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys because of soreness in his psoas. McVay continues to treat the issue as minor and is choosing caution with one of his veteran stars rather than pushing him back onto the field. There has been no indication of a setback. If Nacua sits Tuesday and Thursday as well, he will have gone the entire week without practicing.--Bruno Mulé

Tampa Bay Buccaneers left tackle Tristan Wirfs (hamstring) returned to practice on Monday for the first time in training camp this summer, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. It is good news for Tampa's starting offensive line, but it remains to be seen if the Bucs have the 27-year-old play with the rest of the starters in Saturday's preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs. But barring a setback with his hamstring, the five-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro should be healthy and ready to go for Week 1 of the 2026 regular season. The former 13th overall pick in 2020 from the University of Iowa will once again be tasked with protecting quarterback Baker Mayfield's blind side in 2026 in his seventh year in the NFL. Wirfs is one of the best tackles in the league and has been a Pro Bowler in all but his rookie campaign.--Keith Hernandez

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson could be headed for a fairly even workload split with Rhamondre Stevenson in 2026. Chad Graff of The Athletic believes the backfield may settle close to 50-50, with Stevenson handling more early-down and short-yardage work while Henderson is used to create explosive plays. Pass protection remains the biggest thing standing between Henderson and more obvious passing-down work. His issues in blitz pickup limited him in those situations as a rookie, even though he still led New England with 215 touches, 1,132 scrimmage yards and 10 total touchdowns. Stevenson took back the lead role during the postseason, playing 70.1% of the offensive snaps compared to Henderson's 31.4%. The Patriots also currently list Stevenson first on their unofficial depth chart. Henderson should still have plenty of opportunities in Year 2, but this looks much more like a two-back approach than a full takeover.--Bruno Mulé

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said on Monday that his starters, including running back Bucky Irving, will dress and play in the team's second preseason game on Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to Greg Auman of FOX Sports. Irving and the rest of the starting offensive unit were held out of the preseason opener on Friday against the New York Jets. The Bucs let Rachaad White walk in free agency in March, but they added pass-catching dynamo Kenny Gainwell to their backfield to replace him. The 23-year-old Irving should continue to be Tampa's go-to option on early downs and near the goal line, but Gainwell figures to eat into valuable pass-catching opportunities out of the backfield as the team tries to keep Irving healthy after he played in just 10 games in 2025. Irving had 1,514 scrimmage yards and eight touchdowns in 17 games as a rookie in 2024. Because of the lack of clarity in Tampa's backfield between Irving and Gainwell in a new offensive scheme, fantasy managers should target Irving as more of a low-end RB2.--Keith Hernandez

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Caleb Douglas briefly left Monday's practice and went inside, according to David Furones. Douglas was walking fine when he left and returned to the field before practice was over. He put his helmet back on but did not participate in the final period. There has been no injury announced or explanation given for why the rookie stepped away. Douglas has been one of Miami's more consistent performers this summer, with head coach Jeff Hafley recently saying he had earned his spot on the team's initial depth chart. The third-round pick also made his presence felt in Friday's preseason opener against Washington, catching one pass for 28 yards and leading Miami in receiving yardage. Monday's brief exit is something to note, but Douglas returning to the field before the end of practice is at least an encouraging sign.--Bruno Mulé

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell (knee) still does not have a clear preseason game plan as he works back from the serious knee injury that cost him the entire 2025 season. Asked Monday whether Dell will play in an exhibition game, head coach DeMeco Ryans said the receiver is on "his own plan," according to Aaron Wilson. "Whatever that entails, geared toward what's best for Tank Dell," Ryans added. Dell has made progress in camp, including taking team-drill reps for the first time on August 10 and catching a pass from Davis Mills during that session. Houston has been careful with his workload throughout the process, and Ryans' latest comments make it clear the team is not setting a preseason deadline for him. Dell suffered a dislocated left kneecap, torn ACL and additional damage in December 2024. For now, getting him ready at the right pace matters more than forcing him into an exhibition game.--Bruno Mulé
