Tom Murphy Is Buried In Rockies Organization
7 years agoTom Murphy watched 2017 slip away due to a broken wrist. As is common with such injuries, when he finally did return to action, he struggled mightily at the plate. Murphy is still a nice prospect due to his 19-homer campaign in Triple-A in 2016, but he’ll have a hill to climb to get another shot at the bigs. With Colorado’s signing of Chris Iannetta, Murphy should be seen as a long shot to see useful playing time in 2018.
