Rondale Moore 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: Late-Round Flier On An Ascending Offense
7 months agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Rondale Moore was traded from the Arizona Cardinals this offseason, giving him a chance to join an ascending offense that just upgraded at quarterback to Kirk Cousins. The trade shows that the Falcons believe in Moore's talent and have a plan for him to contribute to their offense. With the departure of Arthur Smith, Zac Robinson will be the man tasked with replacing him to run the offense. As the new offensive coordinator, he will take the Falcons from a run-heavy offense to several three-receiver sets with Drake London and Darnell Mooney alongside Moore. The downside to moving to the Falcons for Moore is that, at best, he will be fourth in the receiving pecking order once you add tight end Kyle Pitts and running back Bijan Robinson into the equation. It is hard to make a high-ceiling argument for Moore with all the target competition he will see in Atlanta but with an improved offensive scheme he could have PPR-viable games as the intermediate option. Consider Moore if you need end-of-draft depth at wide receiver to round out your team thanks to early ADPs beyond pick 200. There is a chance Atlanta can be the breakout offense of 2024 so grab as many pieces as you can while they are cheap.
