Alex Len 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoAtlanta Hawks center Alex Len is poised to be the Hawks' starting man in the middle for the upcoming 2019-20 season. We know when Len is given the minutes, he puts up must-play numbers and in 171 career starts the big man has put up 10.0 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks on respectable percentages. With the Hawks looking to make a playoff push this season, we could see them make a move to acquire a more proven big man as the season progresses, but this is obviously not guaranteed. We should see Len get minutes in the mid-20’s and this is all he needs to provide solid stats with numbers around a double-double, with a block or two, a make from three and he has shown to be an above-average passer from the center spot. We should see his numbers improve from last season (11.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 0.9 blocks and 1.0 makes from three in just 20.1 minutes a night) and is worth a look in the later rounds in all formats.
