Adam Fox Registers Fifth Multi-Point Night
5 years agoNew York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox scored a goal and tallied a power-play assist as his team defeated the New York Islanders 6-2 on Monday. The rookie blueliner also found the scoresheet with a plus-three rating and four shots in 18:20 of time on ice in the contest. After posting just two assists in a 11 game-span, Fox has rattled off nine points (one goal, eight assists) over his past seven tilts. Through 46 games, the 21-year-old is currently sitting third amongst all first-year rearguards with 28 points (seven goals, 21 assists) and looks to be a cornerstone on the Rangers' blueline for years to come. He'll take the ice versus the Islanders once again on Thursday.
