Week 17 Stream Team - Championship Streamers

Kipp Heisterman picks his All-Stream Team for Week 17. These fantasy football free agents could be valuable streamers and waiver wire pickups or adds.

If you did not play your championship in Week 16, then you are certainly playing for it here in Week 17. Hopefully, many of you have a team set in place and do not need streaming options, but if you are here reading this article, it is likely you need some help at some position. My goal is to provide that help.

Each week, I will create a team of streamers for you to choose from. They will be broken down based on ownership levels and league size. I will make specific recommendations for 14, 12, and 10-team leagues to give you the most guidance possible when selecting a streamer. 14-team streamers will be players with ownership levels around 15%, 12-teamers will be around 30%, and 10-teamers will be around the 45% mark. Keep in mind that just because a player is listed as a streamer for a particular league size, it does not mean you can't use them in a different league size. For instance, if a 12-team league streamer is available in your 14-team league, by all means, use them accordingly.

Let's take a look at Week 17's best streaming options with some highlighted players to keep an especially close eye on.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Stream Team for 14-Team Leagues

Gus Edwards (RB, BAL) - 11% Owned

This stream comes with some assumption that the Ravens will look to rest Mark Ingram in this game. If that ends up being the case (they have already stated Lamar Jackson will rest) then Edwards becomes a solid stream based on volume alone. He is currently averaging over five yards per carry and while the Steelers Defense has only allowed 3.6 yards per carry over the previous four weeks, they haven't faced a rushing attack quite like Baltimore. Also, Edwards was handed the ball 12 times last week vs. Cleveland in which he managed 66 yards. He also hauled in his lone target for seven yards. He should make a solid volume play in Week 17.

Steven Sims Jr. (WR, WAS) - 1% Owned

Steven Sims Jr. has been an absolute target monster over the past few weeks. He has turned 28 targets into 15 receptions for 149 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He has clearly become one of Dwayne Haskins's favorite targets. This week he gets a solid matchup vs. the Cowboys secondary. In the previous four weeks, the Cowboys have allowed the 15th-most receptions to wide receivers with 47. This is a Redskins team that is also going to be looking to knock the Cowboys out of the playoffs, so motivation should not be an issue. Stream Sims Jr. with confidence.

N'Keal Harry (WR, NE) - 10% Owned

This is a unique place for New England where they actually have something to play for in week 17 and that is why I am recommending Harry is this spot. The Dolphins have also been absolutely awful against the pass this season and in recent weeks, especially. They have allowed the third-most receptions over the previous four weeks with 61. They have also allowed the fifth-most receiving yards and second-most fantasy points per game on the season. Harry has seen seven targets over the previous two games and I would expect that number to increase this week as New England looks for more reliable options in the passing game alongside Julian Edelman.

Stream Team for 12-Team Leagues

Daniel Jones (QB, NYG) - 19% Owned

Daniel Jones gets a phenomenal matchup to closeout his rookie campaign in 2019. He has had some ups and downs for sure this season, but this week vs. the Eagles is the perfect matchup for him to leave a lasting impression heading into 2020. The Giants will also be looking to help eliminate the Eagles from playoff contention as an added bonus. The Eagles have struggled vs. quarterbacks recently (with the exception of Dak last week) as they rank eighth-worst in the league having allowed 1,050 passing yards over the previous four games. They have also allowed seven passing touchdowns over that span, which ranks in the bottom-half of the league. Jones came back last week vs. the Redskins on absolute fire, throwing for 352 yards and five touchdowns en route to a 30-plus fantasy point day. While he is unlikely to match this performance, we could easily see him put up 20-plus points this week.

Greg Ward (WR, PHI) - 10% Owned

Greg Ward has been the next man up since the Eagles wide receiving corps has essentially been depleted as of late. He has managed to haul in 15 of 23 targets for 166 yards and a touchdown over the previous three weeks. This week he goes up against a Giants secondary that has given up 49 receptions to wide receivers over the previous four weeks, which ranks 12th-worst in the league. Overall, the Giants have allowed 22 receiving touchdowns to the position, which ranks second-worst in the league and have also allowed the fourth-most fantasy points with 27.4 points allowed per game. Ward should be in a good spot to capitalize on this defense, especially considering it is basically a must-win for the Eagles.

Noah Fant (TE, DEN) - 32% Owned

Noah Fant gets a solid matchup vs. a Raiders Defense that has struggled vs. the tight end position in 2019. The Raiders have allowed the second-most receiving touchdowns to tight ends with nine and have also allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to the position with 9.3. Fant has had some highly boom or bust games this season with his most recent boom coming Week 14 vs. Houston where he hauled in four receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown. Streaming tight ends this late in the season can be very difficult, but finding one in a better spot than Fant is not an easy task. He should be able to put up a solid stat line vs. this Raider team and certainly should not hurt you if you are in need at the position.

Stream Team for 10-Team Leagues

Deandre Washington (RB, OAK) - 48% Owned

Similar to Gus Edwards above, Washington is only a stream if Josh Jacobs does not suit up. Washington has proved more than capable in the absence of Jacobs this season. He has carried the ball 37 times for 138 yards and two scores to go along with eight receptions for 64 yards in his two starts this season. The Broncos have also allowed the 15th-most rushing yards over the previous four games with 369, which makes this stream more plausible given the volume he would receive.

Cole Beasley (WR, BUF) - 41% Owned

In most situations, this stream would be a no-brainer, but with the Bills having locked up the fifth seed with no room for improvement, it is unsure how much their starters will play. Assuming Beasley gets the full run, he should have a solid day vs. a bad Jets secondary. The Jets have allowed the 15th-most receiving yards (2,448), eighth-most receptions (196), seventh-most fantasy points per game (24.5), and fourth-most receiving touchdowns (20) to wide receivers this season. Beasley has been a target machine for Josh Allen as he has seen seven-plus targets in the previous five games. You can definitely do much worse than Beasley in a streaming situation this week.

Darius Slayton (WR, NYG) - 60% Owned

With his big play potential, it is hard to believe Slayton is still only 60% owned in leagues to close out the season. He and Daniel Jones should be able to pair up numerous times this week vs. the aforementioned Eagles secondary. Slayton was largely ignored last week in Jones' return, but he has averaged just over six targets per game while Jones has been behind center. He should be able to come up with a few big plays against this secondary as long as he is a healthy go. Monitor the injury report as he was recently listed as questionable with a knee issue.
