Should I Start Justin Fields for Fantasy Football?
New York Jets quarterback Fields bounced back in a big way in Week 4, carving up the Miami Dolphins for 226 passing yards and a touchdown on a 74% completion percentage, while adding 81 rushing yards and another score on just seven carries.
After sitting out Week 3, Fields returned to his fantasy-producing ways. Over his last 30 starts, he’s averaged 20.2 fantasy points per game, and while his real-life performance hasn’t always translated to winning football, Fields’ ability to rack up rushing yards makes him a difference-maker in fantasy.

Week 5 sets up as an even better matchup, as the Jets face the Dallas Cowboys, who have allowed the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season and are surrendering more than 420 yards of offense per game. With New York still searching for its first win, Fields will need to be at his best, and the matchup gives him every opportunity to deliver elite production.
With bye weeks and injuries thinning out the top of the QB pool, Fields should be viewed as a locked-in top-3 fantasy quarterback option in Week 5.
Should I Start Daniel Jones for Fantasy Football?
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jones has been on a career resurgence in 2025 under the new system. Through four weeks, Jones has completed 87 of 121 passes (71.9%) for 1,078 yards and four touchdowns with just two interceptions. He’s also contributed with his legs, adding three rushing scores.
The Colts’ scheme has been a perfect fit, maximizing Jones’s strengths behind an elite offensive line and with a strong supporting cast of weapons. He’s posting career highs in completion percentage and yards per attempt and currently ranks as the QB8 in fantasy points per game.

In Week 5, Jones draws the Las Vegas Raiders, who have allowed the 14th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. The Raiders lean heavily on zone coverage, running it on 84% of dropbacks, which is the second-highest rate in the NFL. That sets up favorably for Jones, who has been elite against zone coverage in 2025.
After a tough loss to the Rams, the Colts will be looking to rebound, and Jones’ efficiency through the air will be key. Fantasy managers should view him as a low-end QB1 for Week 5 with top-5 upside.
Should I Start Jaxson Dart for Fantasy Football?
New York Giants rookie quarterback Dart stole the spotlight in Week 4, handing the Los Angeles Chargers their first loss of the season. Dart completed 13 of 20 passes for 111 yards and one touchdown, while also rushing 12 times for 54 yards and another score.
Though his passing production was modest, Dart’s ability to create with his legs provides a strong fantasy floor and plenty of upside. Head coach Brian Daboll clearly leaned into a game plan that mirrored the early-career approach he used with Josh Allen in Buffalo, designing runs and play-action to maximize Dart’s strengths.

In Week 5, Dart faces the struggling New Orleans Saints, who rank 28th in scoring defense and have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. New Orleans is giving up 30.3 points per game, making this a favorable matchup for the rookie.
While Dart may not yet be on the same level as proven fantasy options like Jones or Fields, his rushing ability makes him an intriguing play. He should be viewed as a QB2 this week with sneaky QB1 upside if the dual threat can make some plays.
