Boobie Feaster to Have Role in Freshman Season
USC wide receiver Boobie Feaster is set to begin his career at just 17 years old, and while Tanook Hines is firmly in the WR1 role, Ryan Kartje of the Los Angeles Times expects Feaster to be among the group of freshmen to be involved in the passing game this season. With Makai Lemon and Ja'Kobi Lane on the NFL, there is room for several wideouts to step up in Lincoln Riley's offense led by quarterback Jayden Maiava. Feaster was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2026 out of Texas and will be competing for snaps with fellow freshmen Trent Mosley and Kayden Dixon-Wyatt. We probably should not expect him to have a weekly impact role, but Feaster has flashed in fall camp, and the Trojans should have plenty of backups during the second half of their first three games against San Jose State, Fresno State, and Louisiana.
