Should I start Jerry Jeudy, Rashid Shaheed, Marquise Brown for Week 7? Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks and recommendations for the 2025 NFL season.
Cleveland Browns WR Jerry Jeudy, New Orleans Saints wideout Rashid Shaheed, and Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown have all had pretty solid games this season and are worth starting consideration for fantasy lineups in Week 7.
That's actually a lie. Well, part of it is. Shaheed and Brown have had good games, but Jeudy has been a massive disappointment this year. We'll get into that later, as I don't want to spoil my start or sit decision for him more than I already have.
The sections about Shaheed and Brown might be more interesting... maybe. Maybe the Shaheed section will provide the best advice, since a certain elite receiver is about to return to the lineup for the Chiefs. Let's dive in to find out who it is, as well as make start and sit decisions for each!

Should I Start Jerry Jeudy for Fantasy Football?
One of the most intriguing things that's happening in fantasy football right now is people somehow still having faith in Jeudy. He's been nothing but disappointing since the Browns stopped starting quarterback Jameis Winston, a gunslinger who's well known for airing the ball out and throwing caution into the wind.
Jerry Jeudy without Jameis Winston since 2024:
+16 games
+124 Targets
+61 Catches
+683 Yards
+1 Touchdown
+8.4 PPR FPts per gameWinston still has people hung up on this guy but he is garbage for fantasy and not great in real life football either

As you can see from the post above, Jeudy has been decidedly bad in fantasy football since then. He's hardly scored, not caught a lot of his targets, and simply been fantasy irrelevant. This season, he's been a roster-clogger, easily having less upside than both of the team's starting tight ends.
If you'll be starting any pass-catcher on the Browns this week, the most trustworthy is easily tight end Harold Fannin Jr. With starting TE David Njoku (knee), and the weather for the contest expected to be absolutely disgusting, Fannin, who thrives on short and intermediate routes and after the catch, is a solid play.
UPDATE: The National Weather Service in Cleveland says they may put out a special statement if the wind-gust potential increases.

Should I Start Rashid Shaheed for Fantasy Football?
Shaheed, after his performance two weeks ago, should probably be locked into starting lineups in leagues with 14 or more teams moving forward. The Saints are a surprisingly good offense this year. Their head coach, Kellen Moore, is making pure, good-tasting lemonade, somehow, out of muddy creek water you might find after a thunderstorm.
Despite quarterback Spencer Rattler being the starter, he's played reasonably well, and as a result, both Shaheed and fellow Saints WR Chris Olave have been putting up solid fantasy numbers. Shaheed scored 21.4 PPR fantasy points in Week 5, then followed up with a more disappointing 6.8.

Interestingly, though, he's had just four catches in each of his last five games. His receiving volume hasn't been ideal -- it's been Olave that's gotten the lion's share of targets, with Shaheed often relying on big plays to have serviceable fantasy days.
He only gained 28 receiving yards last week against the New England Patriots. They have an excellent secondary as long as their best cornerback, Christian Gonzalez, is playing. And he played last week. The matchup coming up is softer, against the Chicago Bears, so Shaheed is a decent flex starter for me in leagues with 12 or more teams.
Should I Start Marquise Brown for Fantasy Football?
Brown's fantasy value has been a bit of a roller coaster this season. He has three games with double-digit PPR fantasy points and three with between 8.0 and 8.2 points. Last week, he caught all four of his targets for 45 yards and two touchdowns.
The week before, he had just four catches for 48 yards and zero scores. His 10-reception outing in Week 1 hasn't been repeated, and he averages exactly four catches in each game since then. And the return of one of the league's biggest potential stars this season could make Brown's fantasy value even lower.
One heckuva season for the rookie 🍚 pic.twitter.com/AvM2Z7N1Dz
— Kansas City Chiefs (@Chiefs) March 20, 2024
The Chiefs have made it no secret that Rice will immediately resume the huge role he had in the 2024 season before he went down with a knee injury. The Chiefs other receivers will feed off the scraps, presumably. Kansas City does have the highest pass rate over expectation, considering down and distance, in the NFL, though.
But those extra targets will be split between tight end Travis Kelce, fellow WR Xavier Worthy, Brown, and a smattering of other guys. And Kelce and Worthy are likely to be higher on the priority list for Mahomes. So it's hard to get excited about starting Brown. I'd leave him on the bench.
