FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Matthew Boyd, DET at TAM ($9,300)

Boyd is a high risk, high upside play to consider in GPP tournaments. He's been getting crushed lately, but if he can limit the number of home runs he allows, Boyd can put together an awesome start. He's got an elite 31.2% K-rate with just a 5.7% walk-rate, so he can easily rack up double digit strikeouts against a Rays lineup that strikes out 26.0% of the time against left-handers, which is the third highest mark in the league.

Griffin Canning, LAA vs CWS ($7,800)

Canning is a cheaper alternative to Boyd, and you can use either for the same goal of piling up strikeout numbers. Canning has 88 strikeouts in 83 1/3 innings, and while his results have been poor, that can change against an awful White Sox lineup. Chicago has just a .293 wOBA versus righties along with a 26.3% strikeout-rate. Canning looked rusty in his first start off the injured list last time out, but he can excel in this matchup.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Daniel Murphy – 1B, COL vs. MIA ($3,300)

Murphy has been cold lately, but it's still surprising to see him so cheap in Coors Field, the league's top offensive environment. Murphy still has an outstanding .881 OPS at home this year, and he should see plenty of RBI opportunities batting cleanup. The Rockies are in a spot to have a huge day against Jordan Yamamoto, owner of a 4.57 FIP, and Murphy is a buy low at this price.

Keston Hiura – 2B, MIL at WAS ($3,500)

Hiura has been fantastic over the last month, posting a .922 OPS. He's absolutely dominating right-handed pitching this season to the tune of a 166 wRC+, as well as flashing a power/speed combo with 16 homers and eight steals in only 59 games. Hiura is an exciting option against Erick Fedde, who has an abysmal 5.58 SIERA.

Todd Frazier – 3B, NYM at KAN ($3,100)

The Mets are a top stack option against Royals starter Glenn Sparkman and his 5.45 ERA. Frazier has homer upside in this one, as Sparkman also has a 1.91 HR/9. Consider Frazier alongside Amed Rosario and Michael Conforto as an affordable stack.

Jon Berti – SS, MIA at COL ($3,600)

Even hitters in the measly Marlins lineup are valuable in Coors, and they are a cheap way to get in on some action against Peter Lambert. Lambert has a 6.75 ERA, so Berti can have a big performance out of the leadoff spot against him. Berti homered last night and is batting .308 over the last two weeks.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Hunter Renfroe, SDP at PHI ($3,100)

Renfroe obliterates lefties, as shown by his .911 OPS against southpaws this year. He's a GPP power upside play as a guy who already has 31 homers and is playing in an extreme hitter's park in Philadelphia. Jason Vargas has a 4.82 FIP and has six walks to just two strikeouts in his last two starts, making him an ideal target this afternoon.

Alex Dickerson, SFG at ARI ($3,200)

Dickerson continues to slide under the radar despite putting up a 1.064 OPS against righties this season, albeit in a small sample. Dickerson is an awful cheap way to acquire some counting stats as the Giants three-hole hitter, and opposing starter Merrill Kelly has a 4.75 ERA.
