DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/20/23): NBA DFS Lineups

Stephen Curry - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

NBA DFS sleepers and values plays for DraftKings and FanDuel on March 20, 2023. Juan Carlos Blanco gives you his top NBA DFS picks and lineup targets.

We're set for a six-game slate Monday night that features some heavier favorites than usual, but a pair of very narrow spreads as well. There are also three games with projected totals above 230 points, certainly encouraging from a DFS perspective.

There are plenty of teams in both conferences still alive for postseason contention of some sort, so with 10-11 games to go for most clubs, there is still an appreciable amount of dependability when it comes to projected roles and minutes.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the respective main slates on DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/20/23. Remember to monitor the NBA injury report as the slate can completely change before lineups lock, which is at 7:00 pm ET. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Stephen Curry - PG, GSW at HOU ($9,800 DK, $10,000 FD)

Curry has averaged well over 60 fantasy points on both sites in the two previous games against the Rockets, shooting 51.2 percent, including 48.4 percent from three-point range, in that sample. Houston is also surrendering the second-highest offensive efficiency rating to point guards (31.0), along with an NBA-high 55.1 DK/54.2 FD points per game to the position.

Curry has also been at his most productive on the road, averaging over 50 fantasy points per contest on both sites across 25 games. Moreover, the Rockets are yielding the second-most assists per game (25.7), as well as the third-highest three-point shooting percentage (37.3).

Kevin Porter Jr. - PG, HOU vs. GSW ($8,000 DK, $8,100 FD)

Porter makes for a very viable option on the other side of the Rockets-Warriors clash, considering he's averaging 42.5 DK points in two prior games against the Warriors and has proven capable of outperforming his current salaries on multiple occasions this season. Some of those instances have unfolded in the last three games, with Porter scoring 39 to 48.8 DK/36.8 to 48.7 FD points in that span.

Porter has also averaged 38.8 DK/37.3 FD points at home, and the Warriors check in allowing the second-most DK (62.2) and third-most FD (59.0) points per contest to point guards in the last seven, along with a league-high 40.1 percent three-point shooting and 27.9 assists per road game.

Dennis Smith Jr. - PG, CHA vs. IND ($5,000 DK, $6,400 FD)

Smith has been impressively consistent in his high-volume second-unit role, averaging 29.5 FD points per contest in the last nine games while eclipsing 30 FD points on four occasions and hitting or exceeding the mark on DK three times during that span. His salaries are therefore especially appealing, as is his matchup against a Pacers squad that will remain short-handed in the backcourt Monday.

Indiana comes in allowing 50 DK and 47 FD points per game to point guards in the last seven contests, along with 37.4 percent three-point shooting to second-unit players. The Pacers are also tied for the third-most assists (27.2) surrendered per road game, brightening Smith's outlook further.

ALSO CONSIDER: Kyrie Irving - PG/SG, DAL at MEM ($10,000 DK, $9,700 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Kelly Olynyk - PF, UTA vs. SAC ($5,700 DK, $5,800 FD)

Olynyk is averaging over 30 DK points and just under that mark on FD over the last 12 games, a stretch during which he's averaging 13.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists while shooting 52.8 percent, including 41.0 percent from three-point range. The floor-spacing big man also draws a favorable matchup against a Kings squad that's allowed the seventh-highest offensive efficiency rating to power forwards (27.5), along with 49.1 percent shooting to the position.

Sacramento is also surrendering the fourth-most DK (50.5) and second-most FD (50) points per contest to fours in the last 15 games. Then, the Kings are yielding the fourth-highest three-point shooting percentage overall (37.2), which could certainly benefit Olynk considering his stellar 39.3 percent three-point shooting this season.

P.J. Washington - PF/C, CHA vs. IND ($5,800 DK, $6,100 FD)

Washington draws a favorable matchup against a Pacers team he's already averaged 36.6 DK/35.2 FD points against in two prior games, a sample in which he's shot an elite 40.0 percent from behind the arc. The big man has also been at his most productive at home, where he's put up 31.6 DK points per game while shooting 47.4 percent, including 37.2 percent from three-point range.

The Pacers are allowing an NBA-high 28.9 offensive efficiency rating to power forwards, along with the second-most DK (50.8) and most FD (49.5) points per game to the position in the last 30 games. Washington is averaging well over 30 fantasy points per game on either site over the last 13 contests as well, a month-plus stretch where he's even eclipsed 40 fantasy points twice on both sites.

Dillon Brooks - SF/SG, MEM vs. DAL ($5,700 DK, $5,800 FD)

Brooks' sub-$6K salaries are certainly noteworthy, and he checks in averaging 28.5 DK points in the two prior games against the Mavericks. Dallas continues to be a good target for small forwards as well, as they're yielding the seventh-highest offensive efficiency rating to the position (23.9), along with 41.9 DK/40.8 FD points per contest to threes in the last seven games.

Brooks has also offered a reminder of the impressive upside he brings at his salaries with three tallies of more than 30 fantasy points in his last six games alone. It's also worth noting the Mavs have been committing more turnovers recently, surrendering 8.0 steals per game in the last three contests. The defensive-minded Brooks could be well-equipped to capitalize considering he's averaging 1.1 steals in the last 10 contests.

ALSO CONSIDER: Talen Horton-Tucker - SF/SG, UTA vs. SAC ($6,800 DK, $6,800 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Domantas Sabonis - SAC at UTA ($10,400 DK, $10,700 FD)

Sabonis has taken his already impressive game to another level recently, averaging a near triple-double of 22.0 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 8.6 assists while averaging 61.6 percent, including 42.9 percent from three-point range, in his last 10 games. The All-Star big has also been highly successful against the Jazz, shooting a jaw-dropping 80.0 percent in two games versus Utah while averaging 51.9 DK/47 FD points.

The Jazz are allowing 55.8 percent shooting to centers overall, along with over 50 fantasy points per game on either site to the position in the last 30 games. Sabonis is shooting 62.0 percent on the road, making him well-equipped to put together a third consecutive impressive performance at the expense of the Kings' conference rival.

Myles Turner -  IND at CHA ($7,300 DK, $7,700 FD)

Turner draws one of the most enticing matchups for centers in the Hornets, who have already conceded an average of 47.9 DK/49.7 FD points to the big man in two previous games. Turner averaged a stellar line of 24.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 3.5 blocks, and 1.0 steals in that pair of contests, and he's well equipped to take advantage of Charlotte's No. 29 ranking in offensive efficiency rating surrendered to centers (36.7).

The Hornets are also surrendering an NBA-high 62.6 DK points and the second-most FD points per game (62.4) to centers in the last 15 contests. Additionally, Charlotte is also giving up an Eastern Conference-high 5.8 blocks per contest, while Turner is averaging 2.4 rejections per road contest this season and is averaging 42 DK/42.6 FD points per 36 minutes without Tyrese Haliburton on the floor.

ALSO CONSIDER: Joel Embiid - C, PHI vs. CHI ($11,600 DK, $11,800 FD)
