FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (12/26/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Jake Finnen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 12/26/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Yesterday started slowly, but just like everyone expected, it picked up with the Rockets-Warriors game. Fortunately for us, we get a late Christmas present with six games and Luka Doncic getting updated from out to questionable. It doesn't mean he will automatically play, but it's a great sign for the Mavericks. If he does miss Thursday's game versus the Spurs, look for the usual fill-ins to continue their streak of production.

The lot of Kristaps Porzingis, Jalen Brunson, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Tim Hardaway Jr. have moved into the top 100 in terms of fantasy production in standard leagues, which means that if you have not been utilizing their increased usage over the past week or so in terms of DFS, this might be one of your last chances.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/26/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Cory Joseph - PG, vs. MIN ($3,600)

Until Bogdan Bogdanovic returns from injury, Cory Joseph should still see plenty of minutes at a criminally low price. Playing against the Timberwolves has worked in previous contests and until they really prove themselves on the defensive end of the floor, there is no reason to sway away from that. Minnesota might put up points, but between these two younger, budding teams, they will need veterans to help keep the offenses stable. Joseph might not dominate the box score, but if anything he's been fairly consistent when it comes to being a part of the offense and filling in for whoever might miss that specific game.

Langston Galloway - SG, vs. WAS ($3,800)

Within the Pistons roster, Langston Galloway sits on the cusp between players in the rotation and the backups that only see time in blowouts. Last game he saw 30 minutes for the first time since the Pistons got blown out by the Milwaukee Bucks and other than that, Galloway has seen a general decrease in minutes. Playing Galloway is always a risk, but the way the Pistons try to incorporate him in the offense, his upside remains surprisingly high. Since he CAN be a volume shooter and the Pistons are more than capable of blowing out bad teams, the risk is minimized the worse off the opponent. The Pistons play the Wizards Thursday at home.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Joe Ingles - SF, vs. POR ($5,300)

Joe Ingles has been playing so well lately, it's hard to simply fade him. Since his price is on the lower end and he is on his hottest streak of the season, coming off his best game of the season, look for further improvement rather than immediate regression. His track record versus Portland is a tad all over the place, but his consistency against quality defenses over the past month is very comforting. This past week, only James Harden has played as many or more games while putting up the same type of production and efficiency from the perimeter. To be fair, Harden still dominated this category, but hey, being second is nice to. Play Ingles.

Blake Griffin - PF, vs. WAS ($5,600)

Even if the Pistons destroy the Wizards at home and the backups see extra minutes, that won't take away from Blake Griffin, IF he plays. That last part is key. Monitor his status and do not risk it if he isn't going to start. His price is too low to pass up on, even if he only has a mediocre game. At this point, you know Griffin's upside and you also know how important it would be to your lineup if you can roster him and he exceeds projected. He might not finish as the day's top producer, but that price allows you target those guys with minimal damage done to your salary.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Anzejs Pasecniks - C, vs. DET ($3,700)

What do you mean you don't know about Anzejs Pasecniks? After signing a two-way contract with Washington, Pasecniks has seen an average of 20 minutes this season, surging against bad teams, but still being able to produce against the better teams. He has great touch around the rim and has the chance to really extend his range if the Wizards allow him. He knows how to get in position against any defender and makes the smart play whether it's passing it out or going up with it. If you don't know, he's 7'2 with touch, needs to work on his rebounding and defense, which means he is on par with other stretch bigs in the league. Watch this kid play. Learn how to pronounce his name. Good luck.
