Bold Predictions for Fantasy Football Week 5 include Damien Harris, Alvin Kamara, Gabriel Davis, Robert Woods, Rhamondre Stevenson

Dennis gives his fantasy football bold predictions for Week 5 of the NFL season, giving fantasy managers something to think about when setting their lineups.

Week 5 is here, and we're back with another edition of our fantasy football bold predictions. Today's list will include Damien Harris, Rhamondre Stevenson, Alvin Kamara, Gabriel Davis, and Robert Woods.

For those who are not familiar, each week of the NFL season, we'll be providing some fun player predictions for fantasy football. While we wouldn't expect these things to happen, we also feel it's within the range of outcomes.

These bold predictions are fun and potentially edgy and should not alter your strategy for setting fantasy football lineups. I hope you enjoy it, and thanks for reading. Good luck, RotoBallers!

Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge is back with a massive $500,000 grand prize and $1.35 million total prize pool, paying down to 800th place. Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson...

Both finish in the top 24 among RB

Sometimes football is easy. There is uncertainty at your quarterback position, and you are forced to play your third-string quarterback, who is a rookie and making his first NFL start. So what should be your game plan? Run the ball! Run the ball! The New England Patriots face off against the Detroit Lions, who just surrendered 151 yards and two touchdowns to Rashaad Penny last week.

The Lions' defense is coughing up 165.5 rushing yards per game and a league-worst 5.6 yards per carry. Look for the Patriots to pound the rock all game with the running back combo of Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson, who combined for 152 rushing yards against the Green Bay Packers in their Week 4 loss. The volume of the Patriots' rushing opportunities and the poor Lion's defense will result in both running backs having excellent games, with both backs finishing in the top 24 among fantasy running backs.

Alvin Kamara...

Finishes among the top 3 RBs in Week 5

Fantasy managers have only viewed Alvin Kamara in two games this season due to injury. However, Kamara vows to return to the New Orleans Saints lineup in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks. Unfortunately, we have yet to see the vintage Alvin Kamara of late, but horrendous run defenses typically bring out the best running back performances.

The Seahawks' run defense is giving up 154.0 rushing yards per game, ranking as the fourth-worst in the league, and allowing the fourth-most 26.0 fantasy points per game to run attacks. Furthermore, Kamara has a great history of production against the Seahawks, including last season, where Kamara produced 179 scrimmage yards and a score. This combination screams a bounceback game for Kamara, which should see him record a top-three performance.

Gabriel Davis...

Confirms the preseason hype and finishes as a top-ten WR

There are plenty of fantasy managers feeling the pain of the injured ankle of Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis. Davis was the most hyped wide receiver coming into the season after exploding in the playoffs last season. To say he has disappointed would be an understatement. His current ranking as the #61st WR was a far cry from your hopes and dreams when you drafted Davis. To his credit, Davis is gutting it out and getting on the field with his ankle injury, but he has not been effective, producing four catches for 50 yards in his last contests.

It has been reported that Davis was a full participant in practice this week, which is a positive turn for his fantasy fortunes, especially considering his Week 5 opponent. The Bills take on the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, coughing up the fifth-most fantasy points to wide receivers through four weeks. This will be the get-right game for Davis, which will see him catapult into the top 10 production among wide receivers for his fantasy managers.

Robert Woods...

Finishes as a top-12 WR

Robert Woods is finally starting to look healthy after recovering from a season-ending ACL tear last season. Woods is eating up targets from Ryan Tannehill, accumulating a team-high 13 targets across the previous two weeks. He is the only legit option in the Titans' passing attack with rookie Treylon Burks on the shelf.

Woods and the Titans' offense takes on a Washington Commanders defense, allowing a league-high seven scores to wideouts. Woods will be peppered with targets in an excellent matchup that will continue to make the Los Angeles Rams angry for trading him. His fantasy ascension resumes in Week 5 with a WR1 finish for fantasy managers that stuck it out with Woods.
