Charlie Campbell Suffers First-Round Submission Loss
Charlie Campbell suffered a first-round submission loss to Tom Nolan on Saturday's UFC Perth main card. Campbell had some success throwing wild punches in the first round, even managing to drop Nolan early in the first round. However, Nolan survived, came back, dragged Nolan to the mat and eventually, Nolan sank in the rear-naked choke, forcing Campbell to tap. In 4:08 of action, Campbell landed 15 significant strikes. With the loss, Campbell dropped to 9-3 as a pro and is now 2-1 in the UFC.
