San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ribs, ankle, shoulder) practiced in full on Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation heading into Sunday night's game against the Falcons. The 28-year-old has been banged up all year.
Unfortunately, he hasn't looked the best, catching only 10 passes for 136 yards and one touchdown. Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (calf) won't be available. However, the 49ers will get George Kittle (hamstring) back after being on the shelf since the Week 1 win over the Seattle Seahawks. With a recent uptick in production from Kendrick Bourne and Kittle's return, Jennings may not be the safest fantasy option in Week 7 versus a tough Falcons defense.
Darnell Mooney, WR, Falcons
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney (hamstring) is expected to suit up for Sunday night's matchup with the 49ers despite not practicing on Friday and only getting in two limited sessions earlier in the week. The 27-year-old suffered a hamstring injury in Week 4 and missed Week 6 despite having a bye to get healthy in Week 5, so even though coach Raheem Morris has stated that he believes Mooney will play, it will be hard to trust the sixth-year wideout for fantasy.
If he ultimately plays, the Tulane product will take on a San Francisco defense that has been very susceptible to the pass as of late, allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game over the last three weeks without pass rusher Nick Bosa (knee) and linebacker Fred Warner (ankle), who are both out for the season.
Mooney has plenty of competition for targets in this offense, with Drake London, Kyle Pitts Sr., and Bijan Robinson accounting for nearly 70 percent of the target share in 2025, leaving the veteran receiver as a risky WR5 this week. With it being the Sunday night game as well, fantasy managers may want to consider other options in the event he's ruled out prior to game time.
Jordan Addison, WR, Vikings
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison is a solid WR3/Flex candidate as the Vikings are set to play host to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7. The Vikings will start quarterback Carson Wentz with J.J. McCarthy (ankle) officially listed as questionable and likely to be the team's emergency third quarterback, though Addison performed well in his lone opportunity with Wentz, connecting for a game-winning touchdown against Cleveland.
Further, Philly hasn't impressed on defense so far this year. The Eagles are struggling to disrupt quarterbacks, ranking 27th in pressure rate, and also ranking near the bottom of the league in defensive average depth of target. As always, Addison is going to be in the shadow of Justin Jefferson, but the former USC standout has shown regular home run potential. With a good matchup on Sunday, he's an option in most formats.
Jaylen Waddle, WR, Dolphins
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has stepped up in the last two games for Miami without Tyreek Hill (knee), and he is a strong starter in standard leagues this week, even in a tough matchup against the Browns. In his two games since Hill's season-ending injury, Waddle had six catches for 110 yards and a touchdown against the Panthers and followed by six catches for 95 yards against the Chargers last week.
Waddle gets plenty of work deep down the field and in the red zone, with a 24.6% target share, a 51.9% share of air yards, and a 35.6% first-read share over the last two weeks. All the extra work without Tyreek Hill is enough to make him the WR18 in RotoBaller's Week 7 rankings, even though the Browns' secondary has been solid against receivers this year.
Chuba Hubbard, RB, Panthers
Carolina Panthers running backs Chuba Hubbard and Rico Dowdle will trade series early in Sunday's Week 7 contest against the New York Jets, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. By alternating drives, the two running backs will have an opportunity to maintain fresh legs, while the coaching staff gets a chance to decide which running back to lean on later in the game.
Both running backs may play quite well to start the game and then continue to contribute in a committee for the rest of the contest. However, by alternating series, Hubbard and Dowdle will each at least have a chance to establish themselves as the primary option out of this backfield.
Hubbard and Dowdle both rank as solid RB3 options this week, and they could both have standalone value in an offense that has become increasingly run-heavy. Hubbard has appeal since he was the Panthers' starter before his calf injury and is first on the depth chart, while Dowdle has appeal because he exploded for 473 yards and two touchdowns in the two weeks that Hubbard missed.
