Today, we review our mid-week waiver rankings for Week 2-- April 7 through April 13 -- to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves. This edition of waiver wire rankings features Kyren Paris, Jung Hoo Lee, Max Meyer, Reese Olson, Kumar Rocker, Kyle Manzardo, Zac Veen, JJ Bleday, and others.
There are key performances, prospect promotions, and injuries to watch for this week. The Rockies recently promoted outfielder Zac Veen on Tuesday. Veen should be given every opportunity to play and is ranked 14th in our recent waiver wire list. Los Angeles Angels infielder Kyren Paris continues to mash and has homered four times in his last three games. Paris is slashing .440/.533/.1.120 over 10 games this season. Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte will miss significant time with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. At the same time, other key players, such as Jackson Merrill, Matt McLain, and Wyatt Langford, were also placed on the injured list.
