Fantasy managers have already seen several pitching prospects make an impact in the majors this season. Chicago Cubs prospect Cade Horton has a solid 4.21 ERA in his first five appearances, Kansas City Royals prospect Noah Cameron has a 1.05 ERA in his four starts, and Milwaukee Brewers prospect Logan Henderson had a 1.71 ERA in his four major league starts before his demotion.

Three more pitching prospects who could join that list very soon are Jacob Misiorowski, Bubba Chandler, and Andrew Painter. These three pitchers have yet to make their MLB debut and are all currently ranked inside the top 75 on MLB Pipeline.

Jacob Misiorowski, SP, Milwaukee Brewers

Current Level: Triple-A Nashville

There's no doubt that Misiorowski is one of the most exciting pitching prospects in baseball. The 6-foot-7 right-hander has had success at every level in the Brewers' farm system and continues to put up strong numbers on the mound. He finished his first full minor league season with a 3.41 ERA and 110 strikeouts in 20 starts between Single-A, High-A, and Double-A in 2023.

Misiorowski then followed up that campaign by maintaining a solid 3.33 ERA and striking out 127 batters across 97 1/3 innings pitched at Double-A and Triple-A last year. Therefore, it's not a surprise to see MLB Pipeline's No. 71 overall prospect take his game to another level this season. He currently owns a 2.31 ERA and 73 strikeouts in his first 12 games (11 starts).

Although Misiorowski has struggled with command at times, he has been dominant in most outings in 2025. He has allowed one earned run or fewer in 10 of his 12 appearances while striking out at least seven batters in five outings. His best start of the year came back on May 9 when the right-hander tossed 6 2/3 scoreless innings with 11 strikeouts.

Given how Misiorowski has thrown the ball in his minor league career, he is certainly worth stashing in some 12-plus team leagues. He has a fastball that tops out at 103 mph to go with an above-average curveball and slider. So, the Brewers' No. 4 prospect definitely has the tools to make an immediate impact in the majors.

If Misiorowski wants to succeed right away, though, he'll need to limit the walks. This has been a big concern for the right-hander over the years, and those struggles have continued into 2025. He just walked a season-high six batters in his most recent outing on Saturday. Still, he's worth a stash in some leagues due to his potential once he is promoted.

Bubba Chandler, SP, Pittsburgh Pirates

Fantasy managers are eagerly waiting for Chandler to be called up. He continues to dominate at Triple-A, and there isn't anything left for him to prove down in the minors. The hard-throwing right-hander has a career 3.37 ERA and 405 strikeouts across 76 games (70 starts) between all five minor league levels (rookie ball, Single-A, High-A, Double-A, and Triple-A).

Chandler has certainly displayed his arm talent throughout each of his four minor league seasons, but it wasn't until last year that he really broke out. After finishing the 2023 campaign with a 4.54 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP, the right-hander was much better on the mound in 2024. He had a 3.08 ERA and 148 strikeouts in 119 2/3 innings of work at Double-A and Triple-A.

Now, Chandler is showing his full potential in 2025. He has an impressive 2.03 ERA and 69 strikeouts in his first 11 starts this season and has only allowed two home runs across 48 2/3 innings pitched. Given those numbers, it's safe to say that MLB Pipeline's No. 2 overall prospect has arguably been the best pitcher in Triple-A in the early going.

Therefore, it's only a matter of time until the Pirates call up their top prospect. Chandler has been dominant on the mound and is coming off one of his better outings. He threw five scoreless innings with eight strikeouts his last time out against Triple-A Nashville on Friday. That outing marked the sixth time this season that he has allowed one run or fewer in a start.

That makes him a must-stash in all formats in Week 10 of the fantasy season. Chandler is the best pitching prospect in all of baseball and has the tools to be an elite pitcher. He has a mean fastball that reaches triple digits while also having two solid secondary pitches (slider and changeup).

So, make sure the future Pirates pitcher is not available on waivers in your fantasy league. There's a strong chance that Chandler will be called up by Pittsburgh sometime in June.

Andrew Painter, SP, Philadelphia Phillies

It's nice to see Painter pitching again in the minors. The right-hander missed the entire 2023 and 2024 seasons after undergoing Tommy John surgery in July of 2023. He originally injured his elbow back during spring training of that season before eventually deciding to get surgery in the summer.

It was definitely a long recovery process for Painter, considering he missed two full seasons. But the last time fans saw him before that injury was back during a dominant 2022 campaign. MLB Pipeline's No. 5 overall prospect finished with a 1.56 ERA and 155 strikeouts across 103 2/3 innings pitched between Single-A, High-A, and Double-A.

With Painter missing two full seasons, it will take him a bit to get back into a rhythm on the mound. There's no doubt, though, that the talent is there. Although he currently owns a 3.90 ERA and a .240 batting average against this season, there are plenty of positive signs for him moving forward.

For starters, he pitched well in the Arizona Fall League in November. He threw 15 2/3 innings and only allowed four runs across his six starts (2.30 ERA). Painter also continues to display solid strikeout numbers. The 22-year-old has struck out at least five batters in each of his last three outings.

So, fantasy managers should expect Painter only to get better as the season goes on. He'll remain with Triple-A Lehigh Valley for the next month before possibly getting called up sometime toward the end of July. That July timeline is a rough estimate of when we could see the Phillies prospect up in the majors.

However, his promotion likely won't come until after the All-Star break. Phillies manager Rob Thomson said a few days ago that he "doesn't think" Painter will be called up before the All-Star break. That means we could see the 22-year-old shortly after the break.

With that in mind, fantasy managers should start to think about stashing Painter. He is one of the best pitching prospects in baseball for a reason, and his elite fastball should help him find success right away in the majors. As a result, he is a strong stash in all 12-plus team leagues in Week 10 of the fantasy baseball season.
