Jordan Addison In Starter Territory Against Struggling Chargers
Jordan Addison is an excellent WR3/Flex candidate with his team set to take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night. The third-year receiver still hasn't played a regulation game with starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy, but has looked great alongside backup Carson Wentz. In three games with Wentz, Addison is averaging 8.7 targets, 6 catches, and 94 yards, all green lights from a fantasy perspective. The Chargers, who allowed 288 receiving yards to the Indianapolis Colts last week, are permitting opponents to score on 46% of offensive possessions, one of the highest rates in the NFL. Addison is always the second option behind superstar Justin Jefferson, but the Vikings are airing it out enough that managers can consider Addison a starting option with additional breakout potential.
