Seattle Kraken right wing Kaapo Kakko (lower body) missed most of Thursday's matchup against the Winnipeg Jets. The Finnish forward potted his first goal of the season late in the first period, but he sustained a lower-body injury during his next shift. This goal also marked Kakko's first point of the campaign after seven appearances. He sat out the first few weeks of action because of a broken hand he sustained during the preseason. Jani Nyman, who has managed three goals in 12 appearances, is set to replace Kakko in the lineup if he misses time.--Taavi Pailk
