Kadarius Toney 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: Hoping For Next Chance After Down Year
4 months agoFree agent wide receiver Kadarius Toney struggled with five drops in limited duty throughout the 2023 season. He had to undergo a knee meniscus trim after getting hurt during a punt return drill in training camp but was ostensibly fine by Week 1, where he caught one ball for one yard on five targets. Toney would never finish better than the PPR WR40 in any week as Rashee Rice became the only reliable KC WR to deploy. And now Toney has been waived by the Chiefs, who brought in Marquise Brown on the outside and JuJu Smith-Schuster on the inside, while also drafting Xavier Worthy as a speedster to replace Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Toney will look for another chance in the NFL but is off of most fantasy radars at this point.
