Cameron Young Looks to Win First Career Major This Week at Aronimink

With two wins over the last two months, Cameron Young comes into this week's PGA Championship as one of the top three favorites ahead of Thursday's opening round. It's hard not to be impressed with what we've seen from the 29-year-old in 2026. There isn't a single glaring weakness to speak of right now besides a middling three-putt avoidance metric (ranked 86th on the year). However, being one of the best players thus far in bogey avoidance and birdie-or-better percentage totally negates the worry. Anyone who's watched PGA Tour golf since the beginning of March has seen the run the former Demon Deacon has been on, and why he is an absolute must-play come Thursday.--Todd McGill
