Randy Brown suffered a second-round TKO loss to Gabriel Bonfim in the main event of UFC Vegas 111 on Saturday. In the first round, Brown looked to establish his jab, and he was able to land a few good combinations on Bonfim, who answered with leg kicks. However, in the second round, Brown ducked his head at the same time Bonfim threw a knee, which resulted in Brown getting knocked down and the referee stopping the fight. Brown protested referee Mark Smith's stoppage immediately, but the replay showed that the referee made the right decision. In 6:40 of action, Brown landed 33 significant strikes. After landing a few calf kicks on Brown, Bonfim started throwing combinations that caused Brown to duck his head. Bonfim then landed a knee right up the middle that floored Brown, and as Browns eyes rolled back, the referee Mark Smith decided to stop the fight. It was an impressive show of grappling from Morales, who got the biggest victory of his career on Saturday. Schnell landed a takedown, but Morales quickly reversed and got into a side control.
