De'Angelo Henderson 2018 Outlook: From Coastal Carolina To The Bench
6 years agoIn five games in his rookie season of 2017, De’Angelo Henderson rushed just five times for 13 yards in a backup role to Devontae Booker and C.J. Anderson. Now he is behind Booker as well as rookie Royce Freeman meaning more of the same from Henderson this season. With Booker being the defacto veteran and Freeman being highly touted through the offseason, Henderson is going to rarely see the field unless injuries hit. With his value minimal at best, he is not a draft prospect for any type of league from redraft to dynasty and will most likely not even be picked up off waivers as a bye week fill in. There are plenty better options available if down this low in draft prospects including a player such as Jordan Wilkins of the Colts or Elijah McGuire of the Jets.
