He will primarily come off the bench against left-handers and could earn some starts. Miami Marlins infielder Otto Lopez continues to rake and is slashing .354/.426/.521 with two home runs and 15 RBI over his last 12 games. Houston Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez suffered a setback after experiencing renewed soreness in his injured hand. Spencer Schwellenbach was diagnosed with a fractured elbow on Wednesday and won't pitch until September.
