Week 6 fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Ryan Flournoy, Isaiah Bond, Xavier Hutchinson in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.
Even after waivers have cleared in many leagues, there are a handful of players that many fantasy managers haven't claimed yet that might be worth picking up.
The latest examples are Arizona Cardinals RB Michael Carter and Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle. Both were free-agent pickups in many leagues. And though they got their opportunities largely due to injuries, that's not always the case.
The wide receiver position is much more fluid -- sometimes, even WRs listed as third or lower on a team's depth chart will have big games even if the starters ahead of them aren't injured. Let's dive into three such players for Week 6!

Xavier Hutchinson Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 0% of Leagues
Baller Move: Leave on Waiver Wire in Most Leagues
Houston Texans wide receiver Xavier Hutchinson had two touchdown grabs in his team's 44-10 smackdown of the hapless Baltimore Ravens. While he scored 16.8 PPR fantasy points, 12 of those came purely from his touchdowns, and he had just one other catch in the game.
Hutchinson played 67 percent of his team's offensive snaps according to Sleeper. That lines up with what he played the week before, when he also had three targets. He caught two of them. In fact, he had two targets in his first game and exactly three every game since then.
Where Texans Weapons rank for their position in Y/RR so far this year (Minimum 10 Targets) via @PFF:
WRs:
16th: Nico Collins (2.12)
37th: Jayden Higgins (1.73)
53rd: Christian Kirk (1.49)
82nd: Xavier Hutchinson (0.89)TE:
12th: Dalton Schultz (1.45) pic.twitter.com/unw3z5Sa2U

But the team spend a second-round pick on wide receiver Jayden Higgins and a third-rounder on WR Jaylin Noel, and they likely didn't do so with the intent of giving all their work to Hutchinson. He's playing his role pretty well, but as rookies tend to progress as the season goes on, it makes little sense to keep diverting targets away from them.
If Hutchinson had had at least 10 targets in the blowout game, I'd be paying attention. But such little volume to a player that's not highly graded by PFF doesn't inspire much confidence in me. At some point this season, he could easily be fourth on the team's WR depth chart.
The Texans also have one of the worst offenses in the NFL. They just happened to face the Ravens in Week 5, who have a terrible defense that's been absolutely obliterated by injuries. So there's not much reason to pick him up.
Ryan Flournoy Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 11% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
Dallas Cowboys wideout Ryan Flournoy had easily the biggest game of his career in Week 5 against the New York Jets. His previous best game of his career came in 2024, his rookie season, when he caught three passes for 41 yards. This week, he managed six catches for 114 yards.
Flournoy's performance definitely came out of nowhere. He hadn't had a single game with more than 32 percent of his team's offensive snaps previously, and didn't get a single target until after Cowboys WR1 CeeDee Lamb (ankle) got hurt.
What impressed me the most about Ryan Flournoy is how physical he was. He fights for everything and has a nose for the sticks. pic.twitter.com/TBwFvg0Zms

With Lamb likely returning in Week 7, or Week 8 at the latest, and WR George Pickens and TE Jake Ferguson still in prominent roles in this team's offense, it's hard to imagine Flournoy having much fantasy utility down the road without another injury.
But it's possible he could battle for, and win, the team's WR3 job. KaVontae Turpin (foot) didn't play in Week 5, but he's mostly a return specialist. And Jalen Tolbert, the WR3 on the team's depth chart, was blanked. He has never performed very well anyway.
That makes Flournoy a good add in dynasty leagues and deep redraft leagues with a lot of starting roster spots and/or deep benches.
Isaiah Bond Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 21% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Isaiah Bond was targeted seven times in his team's loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. He was the most-targeted receiver -- the team looked his way on passing plays more than Jerry Jeudy. With wideout Cedric Tillman (hamstring) out with a hamstring injury, Bond could be the most involved receiver on the team.
The quarterback situation isn't super fun, though. Right now, rookie third-round pick Dillon Gabriel is leading the show. If he gets benched at some point, it will be Shedeur Sanders, another rookie. Joe Flacco, the team's original starter, was traded to the Cincinnati Bengals after Week 5.
Isaiah Bond WR (CLE)
Sneaky volume and a breakout candidate soon
🔹 19.4% target share last 2 weeks
🔹 Out-targeted entire WR group Week 5

Bond has gradually been getting more work, though, and has a pretty easy schedule ahead of him. In the games where Tillman doesn't play, he could put up some solid numbers, so he's worth a bench stash in deeper leagues.
