The Vegas Golden Knights have named Ryan Craig as their new head coach. The 44-year-old has spent the last three seasons as the head coach of the Golden Knights' AHL affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights. Craig has also worked for six years as the Golden Knights' assistant coach, helping the franchise win its first Stanley Cup in 2023. Additionally, he has 198 games of NHL experience under his belt as a player. The Golden Knights appear to be extremely high on Craig. They preferred him to John Tortorella, who was interested in returning next season after posting a 21-8-1 record (including the playoffs) with the team in 2025-26.--Taavi Pailk
