It's that lovely time of the week where we update my rest-of-season fantasy baseball top 300 ranks, which look to balance our preseason takes with the 10% of the regular season that we've seen unfold! Spring is finally in the air, at least up here in Massachusetts, and the warm weather has something to say about various cold starts. Whether you've begun this season with a roar or a whimper, we've got a long way to go.
Not only are we trying to navigate the waters of discerning real from fake, but the injuries are already piling up. This last week saw us lose Brent Rooker (oblique), Nick Pivetta (elbow), Christian Yelich (groin), Gabriel Moreno (oblique), George Springer (toe), Jeremy Pena (hamstring), Royce Lewis (knee), Tatsuya Imai (arm), and Adley Rutschman (ankle) to the injured list. Depth is important!
As the third rest-of-season update, this will still have some preseason weights as a base, but it continues to open up beyond the top tiers. Use this to identify potential trade targets and waiver moves en route to the top!
