Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings - Fantasy Baseball Pickups: Colt Keith, Jeff Hoffman, Matt McLain, Brooks Lee, Jeffrey Springs, Jarred Kelenic

Colt Keith - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 16 (2024). Free-agent hitters and pitchers to add include Colt Keith, Jeff Hoffman, Matt McLain, Brooks Lee, Jeffrey Springs, Jarred Kelenic.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to more waiver wire rankings. The 2024 MLB regular season is zooming by as next week is the All-Star break, and we are halfway through the year. It's time to start building those fantasy baseball rosters for the second-half stretch. At RotoBaller HQ, we are here to guide you through free agency with our mid-week waiver rankings for Week 16 -- July 8 through July 14 -- to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves. Rece Hinds, Jack Kochanowicz, Hunter Bigge, and Brooks Lee were recently called up to The Show. Other top prospects, such as Max Meyer, Junior Caminero, Coby Mayo, Jacob Wilson, and Jackson Holliday, patiently await the call to the big leagues.

Some notable recent performances and injury notes include Atlanta Braves outfielder Jarred Kelenic. He is slashing .286/.348/.476 with a home run, three RBI, three runs, and two stolen bases over his last five games. Detroit Tigers infielder Colt Keith has been mashing since the calendar page flipped to July. The 22-year-old is slashing .382/.447/.853 with four home runs, eight RBI, 10 runs, and a stolen base over 38 plate appearances. The Phillies have turned to Jeff Hoffman to close out games over incumbent closer Jose Alvarado. Hoffman has now racked up four saves over his last four relief appearances. Injuries continue to pile up as Arizona Diamondbacks top prospect Jordan Lawlar is out 6-8 weeks after recently aggravating his strained left hamstring. Houston Astros star Yordan Alvarez is day-to-day with right hip tightness.

This edition features players such as Jarred Kelenic, Colt Keith, Jeff Hoffman, Matt McLain, Christian Scott, Rece Hinds, Jose Siri, Max Meyer, David Hamilton, Jeffrey Springs, James Outman, and Luisangel Acuna. We're here, as always, to help you stay on top of the latest waiver-wire options, especially in leagues that allow for daily moves. Prospects who are making impacts continue to be called up, so you'll need to be informed. Be sure to stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pick up.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

For anyone unfamiliar, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free-agent adds off waivers.

In addition, we are also putting out a second waiver wire rankings list mid-week. Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver-wire moves or multiple waiver-wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday.

This article will guide you with our weekly ranking for the relevant waiver-wire pickup options, including how to prioritize them for your league (depending on the league size). Roster % is from Yahoo leagues.
